Holy shit man, you are always pumping out bangers whenever you upload. 15/10 would discover again.
On a side note, this one for sure will end up in the main title loop, it does hit home on so many points regarding the gameplay the project does have.

The song is pretty, the music by Nomys is obviously too but I seriously don't like the lyrics.
To sum them up: "You're alone now, nasty man, suffer" and "It's not me, it's you". Uh-huh, okay. I've heard a variation of those many times.
Same old tune of a woman not being able to take any responsibility and talking about the bad man. Who's nowadays "toxic" and "narcissistic" and whatever other popular term you want to use. The lyrics, if you take a moment to understand them, are straight out nasty.
Sorry Nomyn and Veela, it's just me, according to the lyrics, being honest. The song, the melody, they're great. The message is not. Of course, hardly anyone even registers the lyrics.
I think you didn’t really understand the lyrics and you took them a little too personally, I’m sorry about this. In fact, the lyrics are much more abstract/deeper than it seems. The foundation of their construction is based on the story of a soul dealer, like a ghost, a person in the underworld who sells souls like drugs. From there, we have a theme based on trying to be whole again that can have many different interpretations. Anyway, it’s much more surreal than you might think :)
@@Nomynmusic I've read through the lyrics and considered them, and although vague and "mystical" they are, I'd say I get their message. I might be mistaken here but: I think it's a female that created the lyrics, right? It would be unlikely therefore for it to be only about some drug soul selling underworld with no significant connection to the real world. Actually it would be weird for it to have no connection with real life whoever made the lyrics.
In essence, it's a more sophisticated version of "bad toxic man, suffer, I'm innocent". And hey, I'm not hating on it or getting traumatized, the music and vocals are supreme and your work is outstanding. But still, to me the message in this is just a convoluted iteration of the same thing, clothed in "try to figure this poem out, male peasant, I shall do my best to confuse you".
That's just my feelings on this, if I'm within 2 and a half people who read it this way, so be it. I was not even the one who disliked it because the song itself is awesome, so I mean no hate on anyone here.
Unless you want to tell me that the part about singing to some dude that now he's alone and should not touch her hands is pure abstract in some fantasy world, the message seems a bit... cold. Which is a pity because I do love your music and think you and Veela are a perfect combo. Just the lyrics themselves in this one song rubbed me the wrong way, that's all.
