I might be wrong, but I interpreted that scene as All Might standing beyond a deep ravine/crevass and a young Endeavor is trying to build a bridge across with broken planks and stones. The metaphor being that to catch up to All Might is a near impossible task, everyone else is content to stand back and let All Might shine. But true to his name, Endeavor kept trying anyway - still trying to bridge the gap between himself and All Might as he grew older.
Destroying the building was perfectly heroic. It was that or it crashes into the city. :o

@@mimsykai1905 Endeavor was counting on Hawks to catch the chunks he made more manageable. He overestimated Hawks fine control a bit, but he was being a good teammate and making the assist despite being in a fight.

But yeah this episode was greatly done and surpassed the manga greatly. Everything became full circle about Endeavor and his reasoning for Rei. He had a weakness he couldn't overcome and Shoto is that one to do so... we see the negative side of Shoto Todoroki only using his Ice quirk which lowers his body temperature and almost killed him in his match against Deku. Endeavor has that weakness with his fire.... also.... did you peep something. I sure did peep a certain someone in the flashes when Endeavor was saying that was his reason...

A explanation for Jevon about Endeavor’s quirk: everytime he uses his flames his bodytemperture rises. So the more he uses his quirk the more his body starts to overheat.
Those ultimate moves flash fire-fist: hell spider and jet burn are concentrated blast off fire, but because of the pressure it will let endeavor overheat faster
Because of this drawback he married shoto’s mom for a way to deal with this drawback and the kids where the result the rest you already know.

This fight is what changed endeavor and jump started one of the most amazing character developments I've seen in any character. This fight is what starts his journey to becoming a true number 1 hero, a better father, a better husband and most importantly a better man. I hated endeavor tbh but after reading all his character development in the manga he became one of my favorite heroes after hawks and mirio that is.

Boi we got 7 total fights this season, a movie being made along with this season, and 3 of those fights being beautifully adapted. The 'fans' judging the small details just can't seem to enjoy that the series is being voice acted, animated and coloured all for the fan's but some of them still try to be smartasses. I can't wait next year for bones to adapt the next two arcs :) (P.s can't wait for the son of dadzawa and plus chaos :3)

Boi the person who did the animation for one punch man saitama vs boros helped animated all the big 3 fights (deku vs overhaul, deku vs gentle, endeavor vs hood/highend nomu) which i mentioned earlier so I have no clue what to say to the response. Only fight I could kinda agree is mirio but I'm fine with that because they had half the staff working on the movie as well during the time

About Endeavor overheating. You misunderstood it a bit.
First, the "ultimate" technique is called flashfire, which is Endeavor compressing flames to dratically rise the temperature, speed and explosive pressure. It can be used in various ways. Like the spider, or when Endeavor just jumps around, he boosts himself like a jet by using flashfire.
Using flashfire overheats Endeavor and he was overheated for like half of the fight already. You misunderstood what overheating does to Endeavor What it does is that Endeavors bodily functions deteriorate. Like as he said, he couldn't move his body for a while now. At the end he was solely moving by using his fire like a jet to propel his body forward and because Hawks feathers pushed him further. So him overheating makes it so he cannot move his body but that does not mean he cannot use any more flames to forcefully push his body around.
Also, as Endeavor said, he was only able to stay concious because of the pain from taking those attacks. So without that pain, the overheating would have probably made him go unconcious. So we can assume overheating shuts his body down completely at some point but as long as he is concious, he can use fire to propel his body like a jet engine.

Hawks said he never wanted to be like All Might and that's because his hero is Endeavor, he paid attention to him while most watched All Might. It also explains why he is so persistent on helping Endeavor with his public image and encouraging Endeavor to be his own person, not an All Might copy. A lot of ppl are saying All Might is the symbol of peace while Endeavor is a flame of hope, I really like that title for him.

Actually realised something after watching this epic fight many times, when Endeavour calls out to Hawks, he makes a arrow with his flames pointing up indicating Hawks to take him higher, the level and quality of animation is really amazing.
I know I'm late but to me something that studio bones excels at is the subtly of reactions. Like nailing the weight of how people react to stressful situations. Just the way All Might sat in disbelief and the way Todoroki had to kneel in thankfulness. Just perfect

I think moves wheres he is compressing his flames causes him to heat up faster. For a fire type it would be too easy to burn everything down so he has to compress it. Compared to unleashing full force flame from his entire body, it is a lot easier then shooting out multiple fire streams strong enough to slice through a building from his finger tips.

something I thought was cool I didn't realize was the reason why endeavor sliced up the building wasn't because he was being reckless it's because think about that entire top half of a building falling, it would kill who knows how many people he knew that Hawks was there so he sliced the building into tiny pieces so he could catch it

Basically endeavor when he uses his quirk too much, his body temperature increases, he begins to develop a severe fever and his organs could even shut down if he pushes it too much.
