A couple of shows with full teams backing them up can't make me as invested in their characters as a 1:30 minute animatic can with no dialogue?? God, that is some great storytelling. Good job
Alright here we go again. So this I'm pretty sure focuses on the characters' relationships. Shows how Nova goes to school with Lyn but doesn't do as well as she does and then when Lyn starts getting too much into the cult is when Nova and DT sorta. Jump ship. They're not happy about it. But what's really interesting to me is how Nova gets a memory from seeing Lysitea up close and so I'm assuming they get rejected? From the cult? Or just Lyn. But the fact that they get sent to therapy over it makes me think its either the collective deciding "somethings wrong with you if you don't believe Lysitea is good" or it's more just Nova not being sure about what exactly is happening to her. Plus I'm assuming that they're reading the book from Devan or something they wrote themselves through the memories they gained? Nova does do a lot of writing. That furry creature looks very cuddly btw. I really like this one. there's a lot going on emotionally. It seems Nova feels lonely/isolated because one of her friends is too religious for their own good and the other is involved in some really dangerous stuff and they're competing against each other but also lowkey love each other. Poor Nova. At the very end it looks they need to make a really hard decision and everhone is very worried about her
OMG NEW RAMMAY COMMMENT! :O This is one of my favorites too, I wanted to tell how nova doesn't fit into any group she tries, she gets rejected from the yellow cult because it was too difficult to her to follow all the rituals. That's also true! It's quite easy for Lyn to fit in anywhere, and she gets way too involved with the cult at first sight, that's why she rejects Nova, she wants to keep belonging to them. The therapy thing is more of a self-discovery, because since the memory apparence she feels disconnected to reality :c And you are also right! Lyn and Nova are reading pages of Devan's writing throughout the animatic, because they are both looking for answer's to their random queen memories and somehow they managed to understand the language of Devan. (The furry creature is Nova's pet, she's called Violeta hahsh) I'm so happy you like it, you literally get the message so much it's really cool, thank you so much for the review!! ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

@@Gambarambacame back for the murder scene, and with the context of deuce and ruler of ev...lisitea actually killed mara, didn't she? The splash on her cheeck looks VERY suspicious. And the way it cuts to Lyn reminds me of sleepwalk - did she get that memory in a dream? Though then it doesn't make sense why she'd keep defending lisitea - it seems fairly early in the story...
Problem of this animatic is what it don’t goes with rhythm in beginning where rhythm is chill, situations change too fast and it’s hard to understand. But still it’s so sick I can’t stop watching it.
It's a depressant that shuts down or hampers certain emotions like fear and sadness. It's different for some people, but most people usually lose their fear and sadness while intoxicated. Also it messes with your nerves and numbs physical pain. So, you're fearless, happy as a horse, and can't get hurt easily. It also numbs the mind in ways that prevents overthinking and anxiety. So I can see why people end up getting addicted to it, even though the long term effects are disastrous.
I don't have a single idea what's going on here, but this artwork is immaculate and stunning! I'm impressed
