    At the point in the video where I was comparing the multimeter’s voltage reading of the battery and the INA260’s, I mistakenly compared the two as if they were the same, but the voltage reading from the INA260 is the load voltage, and I had that Bluetooth device still connected so of course it was going to be lower.

    Very good video and explanation!

    Hello, what do the Vin+ and Vin- pins on the board do.

    • @KeonsLab
      @KeonsLab  Місяць тому +1

      Imagine it’s like an ammeter, Vin+ is for the power supply (or battery) positive lead, and Vin- is for the positive load.
      The load negative lead and the battery/power supply negatives are connected directly to ground.

    Can it be used for Ac 230 volt supply ?

    That bluetooth module you used as a load, what purpose is it serving, and could you use a different load? Is the bluetooth one better? Is there anything else i could use that would serve the same purpose?

    • @KeonsLab
      @KeonsLab  Місяць тому

      Yeah, I just couldn’t find anything that didn’t draw too much current since I’m on a breadboard, so I just used the BT module to demonstrate.
      It can handle up to 15A of current. (I’d recommend not exceeding 13.5-14.25A personally though.

    For higher current upto 1200A using shunt should i uesd this ina260 ic? Suggest me good ic for ac current measurements ushinh shunt

      Oh definitely not! This module can only measure a maximum of 15A

    Would it be easier to get a car fuse kit with a fuse holder for a variety of fuses?

    • @KeonsLab
      @KeonsLab  10 місяців тому

      Yes those would also work, as would the standard cylindrical glass/ceramic fuses with their respective holders, and depending on the application they may even be preferable to axial fuses since they can be replaced easily.

    can you please tell me if I can use this sensor in order to measure Isc and Voc of a solar pannel(I mean without a load)

    • @KeonsLab
      @KeonsLab  9 місяців тому +1

      Depending on how you set it up, yes you can get a pretty accurate (+/-10mV) open-circuit voltage reading, you can also get a pretty good load voltage reading too!

      @@KeonsLab the open circuit voltage of the solar pannel I'm using is about 18V ,can the sensor measure it??

    • @KeonsLab
      @KeonsLab  8 місяців тому +2

      Yes! It can measure up to 36V and 15 Amps! (I personally wouldn’t do more than 13.5 to 14.5A though just to be safe, even though technically it should be good up to 15A)

      @@KeonsLab thank you so much for your answer, I would like to know if an INA169 sensor can be just as useful as the INA260 or not?

    • @KeonsLab
      @KeonsLab  8 місяців тому

      Not sure about the INA169, but the INA219 is pretty similar, just with a ~3A max current rating. My favourite is the INA260.
      They’re the only modules I’ve ever gotten the brand name “Adafruit” version of, since they’re pre-calibrated to be super accurate
