Hello Guys,
In this video, I have shared my experience of traveling to our beautiful state of Nagaland in North East India. I had amazing experiences in Nagaland & now I'm going to share these experiences in the form of vlogs. I hope you will enjoy these vlogs of my Nagaland trip. Nagaland is also called “ The Land of Last Head Hunters”
Nagaland is a landlocked state in the northeastern region of India. It is bordered by the Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh to the north, Assam to the west, Manipur to the south and the Sagaing Region of Myanmar to the east. Its capital city is Kohima and its largest city is Dimapur.
Nagaland became the 16th state of India on 1 December 1963. It is home to a rich variety of natural, cultural and environmental resources. Nagaland is also called "Mountains of India".

I'm going to Kohima which is capital of nagaland so i took Sumo from dimapur which cost me 330 rupees, in this journey i have seen the true face of nagaland and people of nagaland are so humble and helpful.

My salute to North Eastern people for their patriotism. I agree that there were lot of myths and there used to be stories about Assam in North. These have greatly reduced with increased interaction among people and will further reduce with time. I have one request to people that sometimes people in rest of India may call them Chinese by mistake and in that case they should correct that person. People in North particularly should ensure that if someone is teasing or harassing a person from North east, we should oppose such person and stand with our brothers and sisters from North east.

Today i was in the station and the whole station was filled with Indian army from north east and one of them were standing beside me , that was the safest i ever felt in a station , i always felt they are the most warm hearted indians and they are! i talked to them and they said they were from nagaland , i was so happy to see them my respect for them cannot be put in words , but i dont know why some people in this comment section prefer themselves being called as Chinese is better than being called indians

Nothing is wrong but the thing is they are actually not chinese but Indians and they are often misjudged by many Indians as "Chinese" while some also discriminate them . Not everyone is like that though and i am one of those Indian who respect and love them for who they are and i believe their culture is beautiful too .
Now coming to you question obviously no citizens of a country want to be called somethin they aren't like they may be similar to east asians but still they are Indians and so they demand the equal respect and recognition like any other Indian.

Bro its everywhere. In Bihar, only Biharis get repsect. In UP only Uttar pardes( the way most say it) people get respect, you go to karnataka, only English and Kannad, no Hindi. Same in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, West Bengal etc. All people are regional.
Nagas, Mizos are very less in number compared to most south Asian ethnicities. Of they don't defend their tribes or mix too mich their genealogy will vanish. Its a way of preservation of theie genealogical identity. National identity is good but it should not let die their genealogical identity

There's no one wrong here. Of course, can NE people also tell the difference between an Oriya and a Bengali, or between a Marathi and a Gujarathi? The British Empire joined this North-East area after the Yandaboo Treaty, which historically was never a part of India. And a large chunk of it they joined for administration and call it ,"Assam". Also, after Independence, when the Nagas wanted a sovereign country, the likes of Gopinath Bordoloi dragged Assam to be with India because of pro-Hindu sentiments. Indians calling NE people "Chinese" exactly may not be an insult, it is a sincere perception they have, because of the looks. No need to feel offended, because truth is, this region was never part of India, and may part ways with India in the future. By the way, I have no ill feelings towards India, it's a great country on the way to becoming a super-power.
