Everyone laughs at the "alligator" Bob York answer (rightfully so). I almost think "nose" is worse, because he was given a second chance and the question explained, and he STILL blew it.
Between "parrot". "tail" and "nose", this guy outdid the dumbass family that came up with "alligator" for a 3 lettered animal and "snow" for something you see in a summer storm. This fool only came up with 22 points.
No relation, of course, because ABC and Goodson-Todman practices strongly prohibited any family members from being contestants, a practice that still continues today.
I never would have believed somebody could think up such strange fast money answers as "tail" or "nose" as part of the mouth for Pete's sake! Aside from "teeth" and "lips" I would have said "tongue". Otherwise there's "jaw" or "gums" or even "uvula". That conclusion was pretty hilarious! I would compare it to the 1977 "alligator" episode! ~Dutch
YouCantHoldOnTooLong You've got to be pretty dumb to mess up that question not once, but twice! I could understand the first time b/c he misunderstood the question, but twice, though? Really?!
The Young and the Redeemed Yeah. You understand just as well as I do how ridiculous that family was to mess up the question two times rather than just one. ~Dutch
If you could have any animal..... Cow A slippery animal...... Dog A big bird..... Big Bird A department in a department store... Complaint department A part of the mouth..... Scrotum

Nice game show❤❤❤❤
I don't do that sucking the thumbs business. I'm all grown up now. That's embarrassing!
Why not have the nose gag in the stupid game show answers?

He obviously thought both times when asked it ... name a part of the mouse. When giving him the second opportunity they should have spelled it out.
It sounded like Richard said mouse, even the second time.
The most popular answer was as plain as the nose on your mouth!
I understand mishearing the question, but NOSE?
You could have said;
Lips, Tongue, Gum, and even Uvula could've scored better
I felt sorry for Dave
