    I am 46years from India Mr.Grant. I started tennis one year back, but your great videos made me happy and my game transformation in a structural way. Now i am working in Backhand... Which is now improving thanks a lot Brother

    Best description of how the flip is executed that I have heard. The wrist is not twisted to cause the flip. What I am hearing is that as the arm straightens out and starts moving forward, it initiates the flip by pulling the 'loose' wrist in front of the racket head, which causes the racket head to open up as it is dragged towards the ball. The wrist is passive during the flip allowing itself to be flexed as it moves ahead of the racket head towards the ball.

    Love your work Grant. I find the last checkpoint is the one I struggle with consistently. I find when I start to fatigue I tend to use my legs and arm more but it’s a work in progress. I love the channel btw mate keep up the good work 💪🏾

    Ideally the racquet doesn’t go back as the flip begins. It actually moves forward but because the racquet head “wants” to stay where it is it flips back relative to the hand.

    Hello that was great I like to think of the top part of forearm with the projection of the ball path. So you are are like you said about flip is ready making racket speed.

    ,in my opinion the lag of the racket that pros doing is due to the roll of the non hitting arm.when the non hitting hand goes forward the racket is coming in a lag position and is involved in this as well the rotation of the hips

    Thanks much, Grant. Hopefully, this new mindset helps clear my hesitation that has recently popped up often during tense match situations when i try to execute attacking forehands.

    Where is DESCRIPTION??

  • @MikerobertM
    @MikerobertM Рік тому

    Most of this videos focus on the position and movement of the arm without even talking about the hip rotation and follow through. Most viewers get stuck at their begginer/recreational players trying to accomplish a technique that is good for higher level players

    Most coaches don’t want to share the real sources of a powerful stroke since they delay the student into some endless training for personal benefit
