FAQs/Why would they do that?! Answers
We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.
10. We hope that you enjoy our videos and will keep coming back for more! Any other questions you have feel free to ask in the comments.

I'm retired law enforcement. Please don't make it a habit of going out on your own. I'm concerned for your well being out there, even when your together. Please be very careful.
Thank you for your concern. We carry some kind of protection with us and mom was in or very close to town.
I think it is admirable to care and to voice concern. I think it is equally necessary to acknowledge strong independent action by women.
Makes me think of, "Nobody puts Baby in the corner."
Hell yeah totally. I am a woman who don't take crap... As a child I was beaten by my mother's husband reg. I come out and I will never be in a place like that again. Well done ladies
Yes, I echo his sentiments and the dangers of working in that brackish water are microscopic so don’t take chances even if you can’t see it. We care about you❤.
@@deborahkonecnyThis goes Beyond that... it not a matter of being strong and independed or being a woman or a man... It's about safety.... One could trip, slip and fall... And if you are alone and would hit (EG.) your head out in the wild.... A Moose can't call 911 for you.. Even if you are a strong and independed man or woman....
It’s so sad to see the amount of garbage people toss at the side of the road. Thank you Kim for another interesting video with a bit of Jen snuck in there. 🙋🇨🇦🙋
What a sweetheart Miss Lucy is 😍 so soothing watching your videos 😊 love from Denmark 🇩🇰
Going out alone and not wearing gloves…you know what to do! Take care of yourself 👩!
Lovely to see Lucy out with you. Nice to see you not over doing it, a bit worry you being out on your own. 😊
You're camera work was fine :)
Missing Jen, but awesome job Mom!
You’re spoiling us still with all this great output! Thank you very much indeed for such regular posts, especially when you keep coming up with new scenery. The falls at the end are delightful. You are so blessed to have access to all these lovely locations, but I concur with the input from the ex law enforcement officer; please, always consider your personal safety before your commitment to your viewers here on UA-cam. Much as we love the volume of your work, I’m sure we’d rather see less and not be anxious about you out there on your own Kim. ❤
Well done, mom!!! And what a beautiful waterfall ❤
man...this is a nice peaceful video... thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the waterfall!
Well done mum flying solo with Miss

Lovely video, and brave going out alone 😊
Good work! I Like the waterfall! at the end. Marty T (in New Zealand) would put in a washing machine converted to an water powered electric turbine generator!
Both of you showing off your solo skills today😂 The waterfall was very pretty and serene❤️
Nice work, ladies. And good job keeping Kim safe, Miss Lucy!
Safety first!

@1:40 That dog is a cute one!
You rock!
Great job!
Great job ladies…you did lots of good work!
I like the rake!! That is a nice waterfall.
Man, bunch of scaredy cats in the comment section today. Women get out and accomplish things in the outside world, alone. Always have, and always will. Thanks for the great content, Kim! And always fun to see Lucy!
I love your Dog
Lucy IS a cutie pie! And so well behaved! We have a Golden Doodle. His name is Ripley. He's still a puppy. He is still a handful. He still follows me everywhere I go. ❤
Great job and great video work!
where is your tripod? ooops, you forgot it. oh my, I never realized how much you two sound alike. wow, who needs a rake when mum is around. excellent removal.
great job & video
HI LADIES FROM GLASCO KS 😊 4 CULVERTS UNPLUĜED IS A AWESOME FEAT
This was a fun episode.
Do you still pick up the trash you come across while cleaning out the culvert? Great video!
Pozdrawiam
❤
She is a cutiepie!
Mom, do you remember when companies advertised by handing out free in-car small garbage bags? Unfortunately, we can't make people use them!
I work for my city and every Spring we spend weeks picking up garbage along roadsides AND in parks! Needless to say, I never litter. Besides, how hard is it to take your garbage along to your next destination? Here in Ontario, Canada, for teens to receive their high school diploma, they must complete 40 hours of approved volunteer work. Wouldn't it be great if they had to pick up garbage along roadsides and ditches? I believe it would have an impact, don't you? It's a thankless job because you turn around after finishing a long section and there's already a number of pieces tossed onto where you just finished clearing. Our city is considered one of the cleaner cities, btw.
I agree with the others who said it's not a good idea to go out alone! Besides being vulnerable, you work in areas that are often slippery. You risk falling. What if you fell and broke your leg or collarbone? What if you hit your head? Someone once drowned in 2 inches of water. Please be safe.
I did love all the new scenery, especially the waterfall.
Take good care!
Mama you caver all the parts good job just be carful, going alone please.
love from Chicago keep going you 2
I miss your Truck
Really good job except the last part.
Nice to see you bring your canine mates out too. What's the dogs name?
Her name is Lucy
Hi lad I adiesfrom glascońkvs.😅
Where is your white truck I notice you have a different vehicle I like the track
The truck is Jen’s. She was at work so I was in my vehicle.
Just realised we only know Jens name.
moms name is Kim
@@culvertsandmore Ah ha. Mystery woman no more.
Kim and Jeff.
Still don't like your tool safety, but your dog is adorable.
Yes she is 😊
What breed is Miss Lucy? I have one that looks almost exactly like her but as she was a rescue we never got the breed
We found her wandering on the side of the road three years ago and we took her home. Not positive exactly what she is. Probably a little bit of lab and pit. Those are pretty common dogs in our area.
I'd say Lucy is a good partner! 😊 Now - she just needs to learn some camera work.
Lucy has been going with us more often so expect to see her in future videos
First it was the Beatles! Then Take That! and Now it's Mum going Solo!!
So, does Ms. Lou have 2 mommas or is Jen mama and mom gramma???
Kim is mom. Jen is sister.
U know the ones u do on a regular basis like this 1 with the fence and theres another 1 u do with a fence and a beaver dam i know they are on private property but have u thought about asking for permission to clean them good and unblock the beaver dam im sure they wouldnt mind u doing it your doing them a favour really
Probably not a good idea to be out there by yourself. I’d be more concerned about getting bit by a snake than being bothered by people.
