Hey, creator of the combo here. The earliest test replay I could find was Sep 30 so it was about a month of on-and-off testing before I finally got the combo to work how I wanted it too.
I think it’s referring to a game of Magic the Gathering Commander, (4 player ffa with some politics), in which player A casts a spell to win the game, with player B in a good position to win the game if the spell is countered. Player C is in a very disadvantaged spot, but can counter the spell, and makes an offer to Player A and B. He says “im going to ask for a draw, if either of you deny, I’m going to let the other player win.” Player A accepts the draw, as if he doesn’t, Player C counters his spell and he loses (a draw is better than a loss), and Player B likewise also accepts the draw, leaving Player C earning a draw instead of a loss even though he was almost certainly going to lose. (Sorry for the long ass yap, I don’t know how much you know, and would rather just explain everything)
That relay soul rock paper scissors deck is the singular greatest thing ever created in yugioh. Actual masterpiece. The other decks were also entertaining just like usual, but it's going to be really hard to top that I think the only thing that could is some kind of monstrosity that tells an actual story
Took me a while to figure it out, but was so confused at first. Game 4 is a reference to Treebound Hound, a pendulum someone dreamed up that makes your opponent give you head if it goes to grave from field. GB hunter i guess makes pendulums go to grave.
G.B. Hunter is actually "Gladiator Beast Hunter", but as it is abbreviated, GBH doesn't coincidentally end up as part of the archetype. Glad Beasts tag out into both the MD and ED, so it makes sense that GBH stops ED tags as well. After all, GBH just says "Deck" it doesn't care if it's Main or not.
Someone call the Head Judge, we need to confirm if it was a legal hound play. Also, that's literally what happens with the idea of Victory Dragon. If you scoop before it attacks you can go to game two... if you scoop before the hound you don't gotta... well.
I wonder if rulings will change to allow you to accept the idea like how yu-jo friendship works, since there's a good chance toxic players could practice poor oral hygiene or be maliciously toothier than is appropriate
Reminds me of Shahrazad MTG or the AnarchyChess post that suggests a version of chess where the advancing piece does not automatically capture a piece it lands on; instead both players play a separate game of chess to determine which piece wins.

I recall once MBT saying the ceiling of absurd things you can do in Magic: the Gathering was way higher than Yu-Gi-Oh. This series has been making him eat those words.
No, the ceiling is still higher. Not having to worry about running out of zones is definitely useful. However, there is no way I could even conceptualize some of these combos.
@@danielbrodeur816 honestly its probably the opposite, theres a whole bunch of infinite mana combos, and once you have infinite mana you can basically do anything since theres no hard once per turns and not many soft OPTs either it is harder to search cards though so youre probably not gonna be as consistent as something like an FTK with a one/two card starter in yugioh
This series has me shouting "I fucking love Yu-Gi-Oh" so much, but this shit had me doing it every five seconds. Abyss Lore into Ojama lock and the most convoluted rock, paper, scissors ever had me in stitches.
