In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
Bravo! So many kids are jaded by homework and school before they even reach the fourth grade, we need to acknowledge that there is a growing need for technological hands-on skills AND that kids learn best when they get to be creative and do hands-on projects! Schools can even benefit from stocking up their science classrooms with used and discarded electronics.
This presentation was wonderful I'm going to use it as an exercise for my kids. Thank you and great job
Paulo, I am Brazilian and I admire his work at Stanford e o FabLab@School =)
Great presentation and also great ideas. I would suggest portuguese subtitles in order to make this presentation accessible for a greater number of Brazilians teachers.

Stop LEARning > start THINKING > start creating. Here is another TED talk relates to this
