Inspite of cutting the clamping screws, you could've added another rubber bushing to the underside of the carrier rod, so that it would be doubly fixed and there would be no issues of vibrations as the rubber busing on top and bottom would act as vibration dampers...but looks good, I am going to get the same kinda modification on the side on the saree guard.
I tried packing it that way but the clamp kept moving so I decided to cut it

I use a saddle bag hence I’ve ruled out the option of mounting it there

You can purchase that at any aftermarket RE accessories store... it’s comes as a part of the fuel can when purchased...👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

You can purchase the jerry and the rear carrier online or from a motorcycle accessories store and it would cost you 3k approx

I would suggest you visit any accessories store and get it fixed by then itself. Don’t purchase it online as the clamps vary for different models.
is there any problem of petrol leak by fitting this like this as vertical. I also wanted to do even i have only this option. if it safe. same can i am fitting

The quality is good but the weight I think can hold up to 10kgs...
I use it with 5L fuel can and haven’t faced any issue till date
Weight will depend on the clamps used to mount it as well so make sure the supporting rods are heavy to handle it
