You can’t activate the odd eyes synchro effect even if you want to cuz the effect clearly states “During the Battle Phase, if you control this Synchro Summoned card” and pendulum graph only specials it

2 questions to the Protecting spirit. If we do the combo with Hierarchias in the grave he does not lose his own target? We are tributing the Diviner too so his targets goes to the grave but he still resolves because he has first to banish?
2nd you explained how this works against Veiler/Impern but what if the Impern goes direct to the Diviner? I mean we will get the Banish but what is the plan after this. I don’t know if this is really efficient but really cool idea🔥
