    Nice list, I do want to recommend Optimizilla as another choice likeTiny PNG. In Optimizilla, you can set the quality of the image and zoom in to see the details and then you can apply to save the changes in.

    Very amazing given that some of these usually costs money regardless. Especially the "last for best" as website scanners usually costs you money beyond the "basic" ones.

      Auxiliary cord from phone to computer speaker, or put a Bluetooth adapter in the aux port of the computer... Then just connect your phone to that.

    Today, I converted a batch of video files. Their total length was 15 GB. Anybody would have to be crazy to try and convert this much video on-line. As for music, I have about 200 GB worth of files I have collected over the years. Some of these files were produced by myself and are irreplaceable. Disk space is cheap enough, so why not have it locally? I prefer to run software on my desktop. For me, browser-based apps are still slow, awkward, and klunky. I would not trust my financial data to anything less than Quicken running locally on my machine. Same with tax returns.

    • @rickytorres9089
      @rickytorres9089 5 років тому +1

      Just because it's local doesn't means it's "secure". Unless you literally take a USB stick to load the software, then put it on the network disconnected PC to install/update it and everything else. They can still send data to/from for the better or worst.

    TechGumbo You said in the video that PDFescape converts *JUST ABOUT ANY* file to PDF. What file won't it be able to convert? 🤔🇦🇺💻

    • @BrettInTech

      I think you mean Online-Convert not PDFescape... Not sure. I've never run into an issue converting any file yet, but I doubt it will convert many of the obscure files that are rarely used.

    Doesn't the offline support for spotify mean that the files will be stored on your device?

    • @KaileyB616
      @KaileyB616 6 років тому

      Venod Rampersad no. If you pay for a Spotify subscription, the song files still aren't stored on your device unless you deliberately download them. It's all cloud based, so even play lists you create are stored in the cloud, not your phone.

  • @EdwardWinstonBear

    Interesting idea, except for one little problem.
    Using websites puts YOUR stuff under the control of others and gives them access to it. Given the carelessness of most commercial enterprises (Security costs money! The stockholders won't like it!) and the number of security breaches that we KNOW about (and there are certainly a lot that we don't), it strikes me as utter madness to put your basket of eggs where any wandering foot can crush them, or, as in the MegaUpload case, can be withheld from you at any time for an indeterminate period.
