Cut 2 inches from the bottom so that it is not visible... N after few days the remaining 2 inch part of the stem will die off by its own... Check for seeds.. Normally yellow rain lily produce seeds after flowering.. For that check the pods clearfully before cutting them off

They can grow indoor. But it blooms only when it get real rain shower... I tried with sprinkler.. but I don't know how it senses.. it only blooms when I place it in rain... Nature is amazing..

I live in sikkim and have planted this in july. Is it necessary to keep them in sunlight in sikkim too bcz we don't get much sunlight in our balcony.
