This is going to be a pet guide showing you the best ways to get pets, what pet skills you will want, how the pet album works, and how to go about exchanging your pets.
Pet skills are a great way to boost your XP for Black Spirit, Character LvL XP, and Life skill XP. Your pet's special skills can also help boost your family's CP, increase damage to bosses (Boss Rush, Constellation, Path of Glory, and world bosses for Tier 6+ pets). PvP pet skills are great for fighting other players in Arena, Node War, Battle of the Sun, and more!

Edit: To access the upgraded "Patigio's Special Shop" you will go to "Story" > Essential Tab > "Patrigio's Secret Business" and complete the story for the enhanced shop items.

First and best pet guide, I was confused about how to level that particular pet and why some level and others don't, even for pets I did'nt equip but now it's much more clear 😉

Soooo...I've came to a spot in the Main Story where I can't go any further because of my CP level. I guess I'll have to grind for several days? Anyway, my CP is 11000 around there and in order to progress in the story I'll need 15000 CP and higher which is a drag...I mean I've 100% all monsters in every region up to where I'm at now and done most exploration, guess I could reevaluate my pets and give more attention to my camp and Merchantry (which I don't understand very well, thus reason it hasn't been leveled up). Red gear drops are very sparse for me, still haven't completed a full Red Armor set as of yet, and still have a ways to go to reach Lv. 75 and capable of using the Pink sets that is just sitting in my inventory, ugh. Thanks for all the hard work and ideas you're providing us.
Thanks as always for your feedback! I’ll be making a new account to get a better idea of the new players experience. If you can, try to get your boss knowledge up, that always helped me. Im not exactly sure at what point you gain access to the desert but if you can get there, you’ll have a much easier time getting red gear :) if you’d like you can message me on discord and I can try to take a look at what else you can improve.
you cant get the lower tier pets from the upgraded patrigio i recommend hold the story until you have t2, t3 and t4 completed then you can complete the story

if you want to do pvp , is it allowed to have all 3 pvp pets equiped? like does the stats of those pets stack up?
Thanks for your question! Yes they do all stack, but there is a cap to how much bonus Damage and Damage reduction you can recieve. You can also check your stats for this by going to your inventory page (the one that shows your gear), and in the bottom left corner click the right arrow above "Inventory, Looks, Options", go to the third page, scroll down towards the bottom, and your PvP and a bunch of other bonus effects will be listed there. I can't remember if you said if you can grow a tier 1 into a tier 7 pet?
You can :) You'll just need to exchange them. It'll take two pets of the same tier to attempt to upgrade them and if you want to keep a specific pet you'll select that one's appearance to be kept (same for skills). I hope this helps :)
So to level up a pet is to basically let it loot items as a way to gain exp. And to let it level up faster is by letting out just one pet doing the looting job. Am I correct?

how do you tier up the pets? i have some t1,t2 and t5, can i do smth with them
You’ll need 2 of the same tier for a chance to upgrade one of them to the next tier. You’ll just need to go to your pets then select exchange where you can select the appearance and skills you want to keep. I recommend getting baby kabua from ancient ruins (difficulty 1). It’s better to use the baby kabua because you will need each pet at each tier to complete your pet album. It takes a long time though so no rush. Make sure you are buying pets from patrigio daily :)
How do you level up your pets ... My pets are stuck at level 1
You’ll need to farm monsters while you have the pet that you want to level up taken out :) I hope this helps!

what is best pet for world boss?
the best pets for world bosses are going to be pets with their special skill as Boss Damage +12% (12% is the highest you can get). This is for non-world bosses, but after a certain level this still will give extra damage specifically to world bosses. I believe the pet needs to at least be tier 7 for this to activate, but it might be sooner. I just know that for sure you get +1.66% World boss damage for each pet at skill level 25. Also, depending on your Rune of Companionship, you'll get even higher bonuses. So I have an abyssal +3 rune of companionship (gives me +13 special pet skill level) so I get a total of 6% extra damage to world bosses pet pet (so 18% bonus in total for my 3 boss pets). What do you think which is the best pet for outlaw fight since it has debuffs? Especially against higher cp
I don't normally fight in outlaw since i'm a pacifist lol, but I would say max PvP pets. The pets I use have _6.66% Pvp Damage Dealt and +.055% PvP Damage Reduction. Your rune will increase your PvP Damage Reduction even further. I also recommend having the fairy skill "Branch Damage Reduction" maxed and equipped (this reduces Aal, Serrett, Ahib, Labreve Damage by 10% each). @@opgzexty i already have max pvp dmg and def on outlaw inspite of debuff. Im not sure if equipping pvp pets would still have an advantage over cp pets
If you have max pvp dmg and def without pets then CP pets are your best bet. I would say AP over DP for them. :)
