  • In this episode of Cheyenne, Clint falls in love with the sheriff's daughter whose evil twin brother is, unbeknownst to them, the Pocatello Kid that Cheyenne is trying to capture. Clint's performance is very sweet and tender in this episode. Probably why it's one of my favorites.

I never watched western when I was a kid, as only science fiction was of interest to me way back when. But as an adult I've watched each episode of this incredible series several times as the casting, writing, direction and editing were all superb. Clint Walker was, by far, the best hero who's ever appeared on TV, period. In fact, if alive today and young he would have made the best Superman we've ever seen. From his presence, to his voice, to his body language, everything worked perfectly. We might never see the likes of him again. Sometimes they get it right, and with Clint Walker as Cheyenne, they hit a home run miles out of the park, that will never end.

I never saw this show until I was in my 40's and it quickly became my favorite Western! Clint should have been on many more shows!

Hard to fathom that he was paid only $175 a week for the first two years and not nearly what he deserved for the duration of the series, especially when you consider that the show was a hit from the start mainly because of Clint Walker's presence. I know it was the 50's, but it doesn't make sense by any measure.

He never ceases to amaze, goodness surrounds him. We ALL lost a hero never to be duplicated. GOD bless this man and may he rest in peace, he certainly deserved an eternity of leisure....

Good Lord, this man moves me ! Everytime I catch sight or sound of him, I have to fan myself & order an imaginary "Mint Julip" cocktail to cool myself down. Would have loved to met him (& his Mrs) before he died. Seemed like a Great Humanitarian with humble, kind ways. Also, loved his interactions with animals ! Thanks for listening. Best New Year's wishes to all !./

Ohhhh, how romantic! Too bad Francie's dad came in; I would've loved to have heard Clinty say something endearing to her right after that heavenly kiss!

And she threw Cheyenne away in favor of her no-good brother. I'm all for family loyalty, but this one takes the cake.
