Restoration of combined woodworking from the 80s (Comby 220 machinery distributor from Albarello).
To clean the rust I mainly used 2 types of rotary brushes connected to the angle grinder, and the steel brush connected to a grinding wheel.
To clean the cast iron surfaces I used WD40, rotary brushes, the orbital sander with scotch brite / non-woven abrasive paper, 220/400 grit paper and finally for polishing, I used the abrasive paste for bodywork and the Polishing cream for metals.

One of the three belts was broken, among other things it is not easy to find and it is also expensive, so I opted to build a heat-sealable polyurethane belt myself.
The strap has a diameter of 6 mm, for my needs I had to couple 3 of them, to glue them together I used a soldering iron, as long as there is a hot tip that can melt the 2 edges to be glued (it's not difficult).
