I could quite literally live in the corner candle shop! Their shop curation is just *chefs kiss*
Yay for small business support! But Id like to suggest people keep in mind fall craft fairs as well. Depending on which you go to some might be Halloween light, but it's a great chance to support makers and feel a sense of community. Also, some makers if they hear customers are interested they will try to provide and make more of a certain thing for the future, so if you dont see much Halloween asking and explaining what your looking for may help there to be more next time. Some makers also have too much stock to bring to a single show and might have more of what you're looking for that just isnt wiht them or be willing to make custom.
Added bonuses of it is a lot of disabled and older folks rely on selling at such events to make ends meet. They may not have the energy/means to support an online sales presence, so those events are the only way to find their stuff. Also, firehouse craft shows tend to be their biggest fundraisers as well as some other groups/places that put on shows. If you can't afford to donate to them directly showing up and spreading the word can be a great help.

What a fantastic video Midge! Not a spooky small business personally (although I've made a few spooky cosplays over the years), but it really means a lot to see small creatives getting supported. Also I was filming a video where I mentioned Mary Shelley and I suddenly realised I was calling her Ann Shelley!!! Oooops!
Love this video, and your outfits are super cool! It's great to promote your hometown, or businesses that you enjoy going to. As a small business owner, it helps us out. I love Halloween, and have a small room dedicated to it in my shop. Love the items you purchased, my favorites are the witch pail/bucket, and the witch pottery head. I loved this. I intentionally didn't buy much this year, and regardless of how nice certain items were, or how much I wanted something, I told myself that I didn't need it and only purchased a couple of items very intentionally. Whether we reduce our unnecessary spending or shop small, or even do a combination of those things, we need to be more mindful of our spending.
This is fantastic, so Autumnal and spooky, so nice not to be shown the big shopping malls. I could almost smell spice candles in that amazing candle shop. Yes more please and take us back to Western when the other shops are open 🕸️🎃

This comment may be two years later, but I work at a small year-round Halloween shop, and we carry quite a few of the pieces you saw at the White Pumpkin! I think the cute mice are from Primitives By Kathy! That witch pumpkin was amazing, and I’m SO glad you mentioned the Halloween Tree movie! Sometimes, I feel like I’m the only one who saw it!

I'm going to try and find some shops like these in my town, but I've honestly never seen anything like it here. I live in a big town in Central California. I feel like you should take a “stab” at felting your own little mouses…🤷♀️ juss sayin…your sculpting skills…I feel like it could be in your talent wheelhouse! My kids learned how to “felt” wool in school because they went to a homeschool alternative school with a farm and garden program and learned how to properly sheer and clean and felt wool 😳🤷♀️😂.
