trying to choose between york schulich and u of t rotman? if so, watch this video! in this video, I go over pros and cons of each school, including academics, costs, employment, social life, workload, location and more! Note that in the end, which program you pick is based on personal decisions based on the factors talked about in this video. Sorry the video is a bit disorganized at one point!

Emily do you know the GPA you need to keep to stay at Schulich and Rotman ? Is it an overall average ?
My son got admitted from both universities and he’s still considering the pros and cons .

that's amazing, tell him congratulations from me! For Schulich, I believe you just need to pass the courses to stay in the program. At Rotman, there's specific averages for first year courses to determine whether or not you get to continue on the program in second year. The averages are around low to mid 60s. Hope that helps!

What did your son end up choosing? My son is in the same situation at the moment and scratching his head after both acceptance.

He chose Schulich School of Business and he loves it !!!
1. Small groups of students and he has made lots of friends and they do feel like a family there . They all know each other even the professors know their students by name .
2. Location factor as we live in Vaughan.
3. Tuition fee !!! Schulich is $10000 a year while Rotman is 10000 only the first year. It becomes $17000 from the second year .
4. Scholarship at Schulich he had 4000 at Rotman 2500 based on his 97 at the high school.

Rotman is more prestigious internationally because it's connected to the UofT brand. Schulich is unknown internationally but it's well known in Canada.
