Hi angie! This is a very helpful video! Would you be able to tell us which model is exactly like this one but allows the biggest print size? Like a 13x19? I would love one but i think i would have to get one that allows biggest maximum print. That way is have no regrets! Lol thank you!
Can only imagine what the ink cartridges cost! I'll keep my three printers I already have. My pockets are not that deep! Imagine how much you would have to sell to even break even. And if one part of it breaks down, you are out of luck. Geez.
@@AngieHoldenwhich model would that be, I know obviously would be more expensive but its exactly what you said its an ALL IN ONE and is exactly what I have been wanting. Thank you Angie for this video, your time is always much appreciated!
So I have a printer that is dedicated to sublimation and you may answer this later in your video, but my question is are you saying that you can do sublimation and regular printing in the same printer?
You mentioned decals. Does the white under printing allow for printing on an adhesive or sticker paper? Could that then be used with Print then Cut? Thanks!
Hi Angie, is this a new version of the icolor 560?? You referenced it as a “All in one printer” I have the icolor 560 and I use the cmky cartridges , my machine also came with the sublimation cartridges but, my understanding was if I use the cmky cartridge that I couldn’t use the sublimation cartridges because I could mess up my machine. Now I’m really confused 😮 can I use both ??
Very informative video. Thank you . For the ones that are on a budget can we purchase a white toner cartridge and add it to a compatible printer ? Will it do the same exact job ? ( It would be a 2 step printing process ) As per the other video you posted about the white toner cartridge. But will I get the same exact end result ? Thanks
I did post a video about adding a white toner cartridge to a regular printer. But you can't do sublimation with that version of the printer like this one. The video on swapping out and adding white toner to a regular laser print is here: ua-cam.com/video/2pdYKatzm38/v-deo.html
The toner can leave a residue on hard surfaces. I personally would just buy the cleaner they make for this purchase and spray and clean them off after sublimating.
These printers need a RIP software for the white. You need to print from that software. You could design in those programs perhaps and save as a PDF then print.
Nice demo. could this work with a Cricut autocross since it requires different pressure when combining the image to the adhesive then printing on the shirt. Thanx for the info. One more question, how many prints can you get from the cartridges?
I would NOT use this with the AutoPress. I only do white toner with a traditional heat press. The iColor website has the number of prints per cartridge listed so you can compare with other printers.
Great information, but for me it sounds very confusing. As much as I would like to use white in my designs, I don't think this printer is for me. Does it feel like vinyl?
White toner does sit on top of the shirt but it is thinner than vinyl. The sublimation from this feels just like regular sublimation so no feel on the shirt.
I would double check if you printed on the right side of the clear piece. Did you apply the adhesive correctly? Did you folllow instructions for transfer?
@@AngieHolden Yes I have followed the direction carefully and still have runt several items because the design will not separate from the garment.😪I will try again and keep searching for what I am doing wrong.
I know I have bother you lately. But after see this I think I'm gonna order this one instead of the dtf because it can put stuff on dark shirts and sublimation too. Would you go ahead and do the sublimation kit at same time
This process uses no powder like a DTF printer that uses ink. So you do not need those safety precautions. However, any type of sublimation or heating process I would do in a well ventilated room.
Great video but I WISH you had mentioned the absolutely ridiculous cost of the printer (>$3000) at the very beginning because I got so excited as the video proceeded only to be totally crushed when I clicked the link to purchase.
I think you can find anything like this for sale on eBay and it doesn't concern me at all. People get into crafting and tend to get out of it or move on to a different type of crafting or even a bigger/better printer.
Thanks for the great step by step....but this way too many steps to be scalable for filling print orders for a small biz, not to mention the cost of the ink and paper is too high.
@@AngieHolden From the IColor Website: Does ProRIP work with Mac? IColor™ ProRIP Software does not work with Mac; it only works on Windows PC. Most of our Mac customers either run a windows emulator or purchase a Windows PC to run the rip software.
I have a small business so I’m glad she shares information on products that are for those of us who are using products for a business. I like that she shares both products and tutorials for both crafters and small businesses.
I don’t consider it “pushing”; Angie has an audience of hobby crafters AND small craft business owners. She’s sharing that if anyone is looking for a printer than can do all the things someone would normally have to buy four different machines for, it does indeed exist; no one is forced to buy it. Some hobby crafters are willing to pay well beyond that for a laser. I don’t have a desire for this machine personally but considering what it can do, the price tag doesn’t surprise me.
My content is for ALL crafters - hobby and business alike. Also, I have had many questions about a printer that will do ALL the things and this is the only one I have found. This helps people make a decision regardless of their budget. Everyone should be knowledgable about what is on the market before they make a decision on what is right for them.
Always remember; not everything on the internet is going to be made for YOU. If you happen to see something that isn't for you, instead of complaining, you go look for something else. A creator that creates content for free (exception of views and affiliate pay) can and should make a video about anything they want to, because that is the way they can afford to make more free content for those who do need / appreciate it!
Great step by step guide! - One of the best instructional videos I’ve seen. Thank you!
Wow, thanks!
Thank you 100% I really needed this as I am in need of a new printer and so done with the Epson clogging frustration.
Thanks for watching!
A lot of great information in this tutorial!! Thank you 😊
Thank you very very much Lady Angie for this powerful and informative video.

I greatly appreciate all the information you provide and these videos, I can make informed decision should I choose to purchase. Thank you
Yes, absolutely

Try the iColor 650 for bigger prints!
Is there a printer like this one that prints larger? I like my images for shirts larger, but I love this concept of printer.
They do have larger printers.

Correct. You can do a variety of printing types with this one printer.

Yes you could! You would need to buy sticker papers that say they are okay to print in a laser printer.

Can this printer print black? I want to sublimate onto acrylic. Does the printer come equipped with the type of ink for sublimating onto acrylic?
Yes it does print all colors for sublimation. If you have the right type of acrylic, this will work. Not all acrylic will sublimate.

You can swap them out just like I have shown in this video - at least on the model that I have? I would assume older models are the same!

Can you still do print than cut with this printer?
You can! Just get materials to print on that say for use with a laser printer.

A whiter toner or even a DTF printer is in this price range. This is actually one of the less expensive ones.
