@@bradyshane I didnt say Eminem ain't the best rapper. I'm talking to Flawdzilla who use to trash talk em last year and now hes D riding him just for views.

I went from shit like this to underground rap ($b, bones, x) then pushed my way into extreme metal. This song has shaped my whole taste for dark and evil sounding music that is artistically performed.
9:15 its very gratifying to watch you guys react to this album because i remember buying the album on itunes when the first ipod touch came out.. and spent the rest of time til now wondering why everyone hates on this album… i played endlessly
This album is 10X platinum (3x in US alone) so they ain't sleeping don't worry. It was the top selling album of the year, went to number 1 on billboard
Man I can't believe they didn't comment on "Im just a hooligan who's used to usin hallucinogens" the "oo" sound is so rare to hear rhymed that much. The only thing I can think of off the top is Ghostface back in the day on I think only built for Cuban lynx when he said "move give me room, holdin up yo saloon, clean sweep, like a broom, fool moves make me howl like a wolf outta breath". Obviously completely different styles, he had a nice, behind the beat delivery, love it to this day
El will haunt you in your dreams. He helped me get through my young years. Being able to speak out loud is more than people think. 5th grade listening to him. Insane.
He studies every serial killer documentary that comes out. FRAMED is like part two of 3AM it was one of the first songs he did clean & sober--after a year of relearning basic motor functions & figuring out how to rap all over again.
Eminem didnt do any Jeffrey Dahmer research. From a young age, eminem has been obsessed with serial killers and how their minds work, as most of them are border line genius's and extremely high IQ's. He knows about every serial killer thats ever walked and me makes refrences to dozens of different ones throughout his carrer on every single album.
I like that line too: "your blood-curdlin screams just dont seem to bother me none." He's not bother at all with you screaming while he's cutting you up! LOL
Shit ages better with every year. Frankly this whole album is the Eminem album I come back to the most. I hope a big part of the Death of Slim shady is some horror core goodness
8:54 horror is very powerful as metaphor. The most common: verticality and brightness (and how they are ascribed to affect.) down is usually evil, up, good. (This can be seen in mainstream: you’re on your way up, you top charts….when you’re doing badly, you’re falling off, or your career is crashing…also bodies tend to go down in the sense that one falls over if standing when they die, and then are usually buried.) As for darkness, in horror you get “dark themes”, what is the “dark side “ (fine, that’s not horror) it’s definitely not the GOOD guys haha. 8:54 in the very reference he makes (nod to Silence of the Lambs and Buffalo Bill telling the senator’s daughter “it puts the lotion in the basket” its funny, though, in this scenario, the “good” person is kept in a dark well built into the ground….usually where something “evil” should be. He is above her and in some light, at least . It knowing she’s his victim makes this such a perverse scene thanks to these very contradictory concepts. It’s taking tropes and archetypes we’ve known for centuries and blending them and coming up with something new…well, Em goes in and makes his own blend. It can be for fun, for in depth thought, as a means to speak on social or just more complex topics (and still have fun and ALSO paint a vivid picture.) Watching reactions to the recent Kendrick video the amount of people using terms such as c0r*se desecration and many others along those lines (YT don’t hate me, I didn’t list all of them and censored the other one) shows how such horrific imagery is often taken and used to portray a rather vivid picture, in this case, of a loss. (I have nothing against it haha. I thankfully hadn’t heard a bad true crime story in a bit if it had been 4 months back I’d have been so nauseous.) In the end, horror is an incredible, very vivid set of uh, metaphorical paints for whatever picture he wants to paint for us.
Em is so dope. This whole song could be a double also, it plays out like a crazy horror film ,you can picture it as hes rapping but also if you look at the "killer" as addiction and "boddies" as pills or drugs it also makes sense "All he wants to do is kill you in front of an audience while everyone at that party applauding it".."he can scream all that he wants top of his lungs ,not gona stop me from chopping him up".. also eminem is obsessed with serial killers he can name all the major killers and give thier weapons of choice, what they'd do with the bodies, all the details. One song he claims to even be able to put them in alphabetical order. lol
I think the reason why Em is is so creative is due to his intelligence and imagination, we all know a person who’s super smart that doesn’t even need to study, they hear something once and their mind absorbs the information, I think that Em has that kind of intelligence, he’s literally like a sponge .
Great work -,enjoy the break downs. You have a huge Eminem journey to enjoy., 8 Mile tracks, The way I am, Castle & Arose back to back, Bad Guy, Legacy, Survival, Renegade, song with Yoyng MA etc etc etc Keep up the great work 👍
Thanks guys I havnt seen a reaction for 3 am I think this is a first I loved it and was as shocked as you two haha 😄 mad love and respect again and always one of my favourites is criminal off the MM LP ❤️
8:30--I just watched Silence of the Lambs for the first time in like 20 years, and Em is referencing the part where that one dude had the girl down the well, where he wanted her to put the dog or whatever in the bucket.
5:23 THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS, I personally feel that way as well! This is one of my favorite albums, he almost died, got clean, stayed clean, and then went on a 30 track (although he and Dre said they had enough tracks to fill 3 albums easily) "killing spree" where he put his new lease on life into a rhyming marathon!!! Em said he always wants to make every album different than the past ones, and he did just that!!! #chefskiss with the story telling and rhyming! It wasn't meant for his usual word play and ridiculous triple entendres, but it was just way ahead of of its time for, as you said "the masses"!! To be honest, I think this album will age like fine wine 🍷💯👌👏🎶🔥🔥
i love relapse and whole serial killer songs from eminem i have been listening only to that from eminem for the last couple of years WE NEED A HORROR ALBUM FROM HIM
Meticulous is definitely the right word, everything from the word choice, flow, accent, video. You can tell he was trying to hyper fixate on his music to stay sober. It’s incredible
In the video at the begging I love the homage to the 3rd exorcist movie. It’s when the nurse walks from left to right in the hall and Eminem in the hoodie pops out and follows her. In the movie it’s one of the most unsettling scenes in horror just cause of the music. Should totally look it up on google
6:55--You know what would be terrifying? If Eminem DID NOT do the research, cuz that would mean he came up with the whole mannequin bit on his own, like Jeffrey Dahmer did! LOL
0:52 It wasn't mentioned but for the everyone who reads the comments, take notice of the name of the place POPSOMP HILLS he bent it to mean (POP SOME PILLS) very fitting for RELAPSE 😂😂😂🔥🔥
It’s hilarious that in another month this video will be 2 years old. Yet UA-cam still labels it as 1yr old. Not a huge deal but GET IT TOGETHER UA-cam Btw I can’t believe it’s been 2yrs already. This channel has remained the best reaction channel for me still to this day. It’s pretty simple, Flawd knows what’s dope. I’ve said it before, probably to an annoying degree, but other reactors will hear the dopest shit ever, pause, and then start talking very trivial things. They can’t pinpoint and verbalize exactly what made it dope. It’s pretty obvious Flawd has picked up these skills from Meaux (for clarification, 2 years since I started watching, not the inception of the channel)
9:27 He could have used a "stunt double" to sit in the COLD blood filled bathtub but insisted that he had to do it! It's just another reason why I praise him for this album and being so genuine with his craft! 💯
Interesting you say that his last album is directly inspired by Alfred Hitchcock, it’s called Music to be Murdered by Alfred’s theme is a must listen if you didn’t know👍
Em is Dave Chappelle, Shakespear, Stan Lee, Stephen Spielberg and Alfred Hitchcock all rolled up into a rapper

"He sounds like a nightmare" is such a perfect way to describe Eminem when he's like this. Well put!
His flow at the latter half of the second verse is so cool, he stretches out the first word of each line, and it just sounds amazing.
Definitely my favorite part of the song.
Relapse was my favourite Eminem album from the day it was released. Still is. Brilliant.
