Yakuza 4 wasn't the best, but watching all 4 protagonist's stories all converge into this moment was too awesome. I'm gonna miss Tanimura, rip to the best cop who got erased from existence
It's a shame this is the last we ever saw of Tanimura. He should've been one of the main characters in Yakuza 6 considering Little Asia was a focal point of the story.
Recently starting Yakuza 6(well not that recent since I'm on chapter 7) I can agree. It sucks what happened to Tanimuras original VA but imo its worse that he was more or less a one off character. Wish he could've returned in 5 along with Saejima and Akiyama, if he was in 6 I think he would've played a big part mainly because of Little Asia being burnt to the ground
@@Hyperfoxeye Hiroki Narimiya(Tanimuras original voice actor and the guy he was modeled after) got into some trouble that eventually ended with him retiring from acting all together. I like how Saejima and kiryu both being yakuza are dressed the most sensibly. And then there's Akiyama who we know to be the lazy carefree civilian, chooses to dress the way you'd expect. The two men who used to be actual yakuza are the ones who are dressed most properly and have the most proper walk but the two with legal jobs aren't and one of then ain't even got a tie. nice representation of society 💀
Nah they went up to the tower to stack all the money first. And _then_ they left so they could arrive via helicopter later. Their goals are beyond our understanding.
@@WadeWilsonKPop the helicopter blew all the money away which I think was their plan from the start. And kinda makes sense seeing as money falling from the sky was how Akiyama got to where he was. He wanted other people to have the same opportunity. Plus having all the people scattering for the money makes it easier for that newspaper Date made to spread.
