Hey if you wanna drill through glaze without buying a special drill tip, put a cross of masking tape where you wanna drill and it'll stop the drill from slipping on the glaze and cracking the pot. This information is from my stepdad who's a professional builder, so a legit tip! 😊
Plant suggestion: String of hearts! They have leaves in the shape of hearts. You can get a pink version too! I may or may not have three. And have 33 house plants big or small *cough*
Repotting tip: put a little soil at the bottom and then take your plant (still in the container) and sit it in the new pot. Then fill around the sides with dirt. When you take the smaller pot out, there will be a perfectly plant-sized hole left!! It makes it so much easier than having to shift the whole plant around!
Yes. Gardening is so therapeutic and fulfilling for me. I love taking care of my plants and vegetable garden. Having a nice patio or deck with an array of flowers, plants, and bird feeders is so relaxing and lovely to sit and read or chill there.
This made my day, honestly your home makes me so happy with the colour schemes/ pastel-ness /kawaii /party kei theme. I’ve been wanting to get into plants really badly but I’m living with my parents again so I don’t have any room, I’ve seen some of the pots you have at the dollar store and maybe Homesense and have wanted them so badly!! P.s. apparently Hostas tend to grow like crazy outside
AFOBGREENDAYBVBP!ATDPHANFAN I wish IKEA was closer to where I live, I’ve always wanted to go :o (maybe I can convince my dad who has the week off for a little road trip) do they have lots of pastel ones? :)
@@pastelbrillix Yeah, the ones I got came in little pastel pots though I did have to repot them as it was too small. I have a normal looking cactus but it has no spikes and grows pink flowers at the top, an aloe Vera, and an orchid thing (not technically a succulent haha) :)
Having plants really helps me with my mental health. For some reason seeing something alive and thriving like a healthy little house plant is just so inspiring! I love the little pastel pots! They're so cute! 🌈🌿
You should name your strawberry plant Parfait, after the Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait tea at David's Tea (also I love you so flippin' much and I'm glad you found another hobby that helps your mental health 😊💗🌼🌈).
Get yourself a Pothos! Easiest plant friend I've ever had and hangs so wonderfully so cats can't get to it. Also highly recommend prayer plants, mine's a bit finnicky lately but they're so pretty and they wave their leaves at you over the course of the day! For outdoor flowers get some wave petunias, you'll have flowers all summer and they get BIG
I do the exact same thing as Pixielocks used to do with her plants. Now I know why I only can let super low maintance plants survive for longer than a month, even if I exactly follow the care instructions and take proper care of every plant. Thanks Pixielocks!
This video came at the PERFECT time for me. I've recently got really into planting and sowing my own seeds and what not but no one else I know cares about that stuff...so I love that we can have a little plant parent's club!
im living for this planrs are so wonderful any time i get in a bad funk i get a new one and i just love watching them grown and the color and life bring
Pixie, you're supposed to repot the plant in a pot that is about 1 inch bigger in diameter than the pot it came in.if you look at the first plant you did, the roots are already crammed and in need of more space, thats why it needs a bigger pot and some more dirt. that is true for most plants you can buy at stores
My grandma is into plants so it was such a fun video to watch together she was so interested in guessing the types of plants you have🤗🌷MamaPixie bringing families together 😂
You should take vanilla ice and run her under the tap until the water runs though. It seems like she might just be a little dehydrated. Hope she starts doing better! Hopefully helpful tip from a novice botanist! ❤️
i love that all the pots are pastel, the green leaves and the pastel color gives it a nice touch. :D im glad this is working for you~! i wanna see when you start having strawberries :3
Omg I’m loving the comments so many ppl know about plants ! I don’t know anything at all so it’s nice learning a bit more 🌿💚 super wholesome video and comments 😭
This is the content we need on UA-cam. I was feeling particularly down today cause I couldn’t get my prescription filled and this totally brightened up my day.
Thank you pixie!!! I was in a slump but then I saw that you uploaded and now I’m all happy!! I love your little plant family and it would be awesome if you did chill weekly vlogs again :>
I’m also working on raising some photosynthesising children (herbs, and veggies), as well as playing all the video games i haven’t had the time to play yet. Oh, and I’m getting ready for coleg but that’s not too important. Lol. Also: this video gives me the best big sister witch vibes and it’s lovely. Best of luck to your plant kids Pixie!
Me, all my friends, all my favourite UA-cam gals, have all come full circle from the days of thinking our moms were boring for gardening to having our own INSANE collections. The lesson: mom is usually right 😅😂 Love this Pixie, such lovely calm vibes ✨🌌🌱
Ceramic pots doesn't have drainage holes because then the water would leak out when you water your plants! They're OUTER pots, and in them you put a slightly smaller plastic pot that has draining, and that are containing the dirt and plant. For your drilled pots you now need plates beneath each one. But hey, still super cute & colorful video. Xoxo
This is such a coincidence, I just recently got into bonsai-ing with my mum (and I always hated gardening too). It really is a great anxiety reducing, stress relieving activity. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. Also would love to see an update video when they grow and where you keep them
we love gardener/plant lady/homeowner Pixie content!!! 💕 Also your gardener outfit is so wonderful! 🌼 My Summer tea is that I started a fashion design internship!!! and I just wanted to say thank you for being such a big inspiration to me!!! 💕💕💕
Fun fact: you can put a layer of pebbles at the bottom of a pot with no drainage holes and it’ll act as a drain!! Then as long as you only water when necessary (usually once a week) they’ll be fine! 🥰 Edit: whoops she kinda said that in the vid my bad
oohh my god i recently got into plants and gardening stuff too 🤩 i want to show you my cute tiny succulents aaahhh. and my roommate and i got some cucumbers that are growing beautifully in our little garden. i love it!! it‘s like they are our little babies 🥰
Your energy in this video is so very sweet and positive and I hope that means your mental heath is on an incline! Ilysm and love seeing you smiley, energetic and happy!
i LOVE pilea /pepperonia / whatever the name is. Mines in a vintage like.... bronze? pot which I think is telling of my aesthetic. And uh, theyre CONSTANTLY giving off babies like. Get ready to be able to give all of your friends like five pileas lmao.
This is probably one of the biggest moods for me too RN lol i used to hate gardening bc if I saw like one spider i would DIP LOL but now??? I have the cutest pastel garden with a cherry blossom tree and hydrangeas etc!
I have been going a lot of outdoor gardening this summer. I actually was growing carrots but only really got 3 that were worth anything. all the others were less then 1 inch long or didn't look like carrots yet. I think my issue was not enough sun & I didn't thin the rows enough. I will try to do a fall planting of some other veggies in the next few days. It makes me so happy to see others gardening/taking car of plants. :) Thank you for the upload Pixie! EDIT: I'd love to see all plant updates :) maybe when you get some more pots for the ones you haven't moved yet you can update us on the ones that you put in their new pots from this video. ALSO I vote you name the peperomia plant Omi or Omia.
My summer is going very good!! I got to go to Disney World for a uni class and it was fantastic! I also ordered some clothes and SOCKS for school (Starts in mid-August at my school) and I am very excited. I also just rehomed a bunch of plants so this was very fun to watch!
this summer i started a garden at my home too! its an inground garden and ive only started some sugar cane plants, and ive started sprouting some tomatoes and watermelon! pepperoni plant should be pepe the pepperoni plant. 💕🌱🌹
Ahhh I love it 😍 gonna move in my own appartment for the first time this summer and I’m planning on having lots of baby plants to keep my mood up! Lovely greetings from Germany ❤️
Got a new phone and found your channel again. I'm so happy to have you back momma pixie!!!!! Time to binge watch vids and get up to date with you as always love you lots!!!!!
I just repotted my succulents, unfortunately not while watching the video. I love my little plants and can't wait to get more and closer to your huge collection when I have a bigger house
I love these casual vids so much!! Keep making them! You are so sweet to your little plants! Throw a little fertilizer on them and they will grow big and strong. Enjoy them!
Hi pixie! Love your plants and pots 😍💖💖💖 I have a few suggesties as a fellow plant lover. Take an inch or so of dirt off the pots that are to the brim, so the water doesnt overflow when watering. Itll help you get enough water into the deeper soil. Also, for your fave plant in the lavender pot, maybe look up how to untangle a root ball. The roots are long and starting to wrap around the soil which may inhibit the plant from drinking as much water. Also, you should get some succulents 😍 they’re beautiful and super easy to grow from just cuttings. I’d suggest r/gardening on reddit as well. That’s where I get a ton of my info.
You should check online for plants as well. That’s where I get most of mine because there really isn’t any place to get the ones that I want. Also, an idea, if you want matching saucers to put under the pots you could go to a thrift store and buy plates and spray paint them whatever color you want. Great video btw.
If you have any low-light places in your house that you want to put plants you should look into pothos, my family has like 3-4 of them and you can get the variegated ones like the pearl and jade ones ( a personal favorite) also snake plants provide lots of love for very little in return ❤️❤️❤️
Love this! It makes me want to plant some of my own plants :3 Also, if you're interested (and can find them) you should plant some Bleeding Hearts! The flowers are actually heart shaped and range from red to pink
The Curly Wurly or Corkscrew Rush will need to be transfered into a bigger pot next year. It spreads. I have six around my birdbath and I had to cut them back this year. They will also get little flower stuff on them the bigger they get. Happy Gardening!
This video made me so happy! I can't wait to be able to take care of some of my own planty friends! Also my summer is going great, this year will be my senior year (HS) so I'm hecka excited for the fall. I hope yours is going great aswell!

Did I hear soft domestic content similar to the pixie vlogs?????? I LOVE THIS BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW GIRL
Paige Cheatham I know!!! I’m so excited to get a vlog style again!
I missed the vlogs!
Plant suggestion: String of hearts! They have leaves in the shape of hearts. You can get a pink version too! I may or may not have three. And have 33 house plants big or small *cough*
ooh and get a Bleeding Heart too!!! literal heart blooms
My mom grew bleeding hearts when we lived in Colorado. They were a memorial to my great grandpa. They bloom so pretty!
A Hoya Kerrii also has a heart shaped leaf and have gorgeous pink flowers when they bloom! A very pretty house plant
Weird but soooo cute
Repotting tip: put a little soil at the bottom and then take your plant (still in the container) and sit it in the new pot. Then fill around the sides with dirt. When you take the smaller pot out, there will be a perfectly plant-sized hole left!! It makes it so much easier than having to shift the whole plant around!
Getting SUCH Bee and Puppycat vibes here! 🌼🌻🐝🐱💛💗
Yes. Gardening is so therapeutic and fulfilling for me. I love taking care of my plants and vegetable garden. Having a nice patio or deck with an array of flowers, plants, and bird feeders is so relaxing and lovely to sit and read or chill there.

I love my pastel plant mom
I recommend going to your local Starbucks or coffee shop and asking for their espresso grounds! The plants love the acidity 🌱 💖
But composted! Not directly on them or they'll burn!
You make me so happy!! And so do your plant friends 🌻🌷
You should name the Hosta "Baby" because
1. Dirty Dancing reference uhm hello?
2. Hosta la vista "baby" is a fun pun.
Having plants really helps me with my mental health. For some reason seeing something alive and thriving like a healthy little house plant is just so inspiring! I love the little pastel pots! They're so cute! 🌈🌿
6:43 The way she talks to the plant! I felt the love asking if the plant is cozy 💖💖💖💖
You should name your strawberry plant Parfait, after the Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait tea at David's Tea (also I love you so flippin' much and I'm glad you found another hobby that helps your mental health 😊💗🌼🌈).
HOW CAN EVERY DANG THING YOU DO BE SO CUTE!!!! 💕💕💕 This is such a lovely, uplifting video!!!

This year is the year of the plant(s). I bought succulents this year and I’m also thinking about getting/growing a bonsai tree. 🌱
OMG two pixie videos almost back to back I die so excited just when I needed for this dark and bleak week that I have been having😭💖
I’m currently doing stocktake at work and I’m on my break and saw this in my inbox and thanked the gods because I needed something to cheer me up! 💚
This video made me smile. Love you Pixie. Want updates on Vanilla Ice. xx
THIS IS THE KIND OF PURE CONTENT I NEED TODAY I’m gunna play this in the background while clean my room to get +10 positivity points
You should definitely try growing sunflowers!! 🌻🌻 I have about ten Mammoth sunflowers growing in my flower bed rn 💕💗
The tol purple one is a type of wandering jew, their roots grow super quick and look like tentacles, they’re way thicker than other plants’ rootage! So I would suggest giving them a bigger pot so you don’t have to repot them again in like a month haha 🌱✨
Hey Pixie! I really love this video. I now know how I killed my plant....no drainage holes! I'd love to see an update video on all of your plant children! Stay Sparkley!
Plant Pixie is giving me life right now I feel so uplifted
I love how you just...you and every room in your house are just sooo aesthetically well composed
plants are great
Lovely video!!! Little plant tip: for plastic pots you can make drainage holes with a hot nail. Just use pliers to grab the nail and put it on the stove, once it's hot you can poke a hole super easily. Hope that helps!
ravioli, ravioli, give pepperoni all the love he deserves, seriously he's a good boi, he deserves it.
Hi Jillian!!! Thank you so much for sharing your love of plants, I love watching people garden! Also, you should definitely name the Pepperoni plant Pepper!!! Okie, bai bai
Having a bad time at 11:20 on this Friday night, weirdly enough, this video was exactly what I needed
