I have used a 375 Holland & Holland repeatedly in Africa and I can say it does a great job. The 375 Ruger should be very similar. Great video series! Greetings from Germany.
33 Nosler is freaking Cannon . My dad and uncle told me 20 years ago Nosler Partition and Accubond is all you'll ever need for Game bullets . 338LM is another powerhouse . That 33 Nosler will rattle your sphincter for sure .
I don't know if the states is the same as South Africa but 375 by law is the smallest calibre you can use for dangerous game. 375 is a great go between for plains game and dangerous game. For the guys that only hunt dangerous game and want an insurance policy they rather use 400 nitro, 458 lott, 416 rigby and obviously your 500, 600 and 700 nitros for elephant, hippo and buffalo. This series was brilliant and well shot. Come hunt a Leopard in SA for a real challenge.
“It will vibrate your eyeballs, it is horrible” (.338 Lapua). LMAO! Well, that’s another cartridge I’ll never use. I had a very nice Win 1895 in .405 Win…had to sell it; didn’t know that rifle, in that caliber had the reputation of detaching retinas! I think I fired it three or four times on the bench…crazy harsh recoil. TR’s “big medicine”!
I live in Alaska, sold my 375 Ruger. Great gun and caliber. I went back to my 270 140gr Barnes. Carry my Springfield 10mm on chest. I will kill any Bear here with my 270. If you don't think so, maybe we should just use a bow. Record brown bears are killed with bows all the time. You don't need a belt fed browning to kill large game. Plus, I use a Banish 30 suppressor and belong to Resident Hunters of Alaska. Alaska resources for Alaskan Residents first. Very unfair Tag system right now for Residents compared to non-residents. We are fighting it in court.
Can’t wait for the hunting part to y’all’s story cause the build up has been awesome! Oh ya check out the grizzly hunt from Stuck in the Rut they almost got eaten this past hunting season!
I agree! I will drop/have dropped any big game I’ve went after here in Alaska with a 300 Win Mag, or 7mm Rem Mag. Cannons are nice if that’s you choice, but definitely are not necessary, just my personal experience….your mileage may vary😎👍🇺🇸
Man these bros are so sick. 1lb trigger on my 338 lapua hunting rifle that’s perfect, pound it brother. Pass me the whiskey my hands are starting to shake
You guys should advertise the channel a little more. YT unsubbed me more than a year ago and I honestly completely forgot about the channel. Some great stuff gets put on here that more eyeballs would see if they only knew.
If you are going to hunt a Predator for the 'danger' of hunting a Predator, why not use a Bow ? WTF is dangerous about shooting a bear with a high powered rifle ? ...especially when you are surrounded by a group of guys all with their own high powered rifles ?. *GIVE THE ANIMAL THE RESPECT THAT IT DESERVES , OR DON'T BOTHER IT* . When you all went to War, how much PRIDE would you have felt for killing an enemy that threw rocks at you ? PROBABLY NOT MUCH. The same goes for a Natural Predator. USE A BOW with a 44mag Revolver as backup, or stay home and tell old War stories to each other over a hot cup of coffee. It takes about as much confidence and results in about as much valor to shoot a Bear with a Lapua Mag round, as it does to shoot an unarmed civilian, or win a fist fight against a young teenager. You want to hunt Deer ? go nuts. Shoot it with anything and everything you can shoulder. A Deer is not a Predator. You want to hunt a Predator to say that you have hunted a Predator ? UP THE STAKES A BIT. NOBODY WANTS TO SEE A BUNCH OF TOUGH 'MILITARY' GUYS HIDING BEHIND AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE AS WELL AS EACH OTHER. Fagz....
lmao.. he said "what are you a FN socialist" wish I coulda been there. almost done with my 338 WSM build. shes a puddy cat compared to that 338 LM. that belongs in war. not Alaska lol

Greetings from Germany.
I still love my .30-06… i feel old…
Same
Great gun, I'd want more for big grizz though. No doubt it would work but Kodiak has some huge bears. I like 375 h&h and 375 ruger
Nice rifle’s, I used a 375H&H magnum, my crazy brother used grandpas 505 Gibbs, both worked great for brown bears
We may finally get to see Evan's feet in this series. VERY exciting!

.416 Remington Magnum.
Evans sense of humour cracks me up 3:18😂so are you a novice pilot?
Could we please get a gear breakdown of Evans Rifle. Who makes it. ???

Or after the success of the film ‘cocaine bear’, are you researching for a similar film ‘the caffeinated bear’?
Bring enough gun and every person should carry a rifle and pistol!
375 Ruger is awesome also carry a 10mm on my chest or a 454 casull Incase a bear runs up on you quick
338 Lapua why not just bring a LAW rocket Jesus?!
300mag
