    What a scary adjustment to make to look in the mirror and see someone else staring back at you. I truly hope he is recovering both physically but also mentally! What an amazing team of doctors! ❤️

      an artificial hand is the best. With the work we do with robots, this is the way to go. The organic will always fail. The machines will last longer.

    Without the donor it would not have been possible,he was a great men that the recipient could able to use his body and face. Men with great heart. RIP,

      He should thank the family of that donor and I am certain he did and does as it is a very hard thing to do, to donate the face of your departed loved one. People can handle internal organs, but a face is a step above. However, it never really does look like the face like the original owner. Somewhat similar but mostly distorted......

      It's not a miracle, it's science, don't pray God just thanks those 140 workers who did it and those who put all of themself into research!
      God may be or may not be the creator of all, but he give us free will, and those people decided to use it to make good in the world.
      I don't believe in god, i would like but i can't find faith, but still think that we have to do the right choise and help each other :)
      And all of them had the strenght of doing it, give them credit!

    I got married at age 20 and divorced at age 22 , i felt like my life is ruined and no one will ever want me again because i am divorced .
    This dude lost anything at age 22 , after watching this its easier to realise how much i have .

    This is just amazing. I saw a different face transplant video, which was no where as perfect as this one. And the sister of the donor got to meet the guy with her brothers face. It was really heartwarming 💖

      Um. It's not risky. He's already dead. People sign up for organ donation before the die. So they know whats gonna happen to their bodies when the pass away.

    You know it scares me how such a normal person ( and he was quite handsome original) can get into such terrible accidents...

    This is so inspiring. Always have to remember that no matter how bad you or I might have it, there's someone who has it 100x worse that's pressing forward and making the best of the hand they've been dealt.
