- Whilst training in Korea i was fortunate to be at Kyung Hee University when the Korean Army team came to train. This clip shows the speed power and strength these professional athletes held back in the old school taekwondo days - boy do i miss those days !! check this out and watch to the end to find out whats coming next.

Yes, it is absolutely true as you have written - "This clip shows the speed power and strength these professional athletes held back in the old school Taekwondo days". I was also a regular old-school student (1989-1994) before choosing the Job of a College Teacher. Most of the Juniors saying that, the Old school depicts "The Power of Taekwondo", while New school depicts "The Speed of Taekwondo" (for thee check of Point sparing). Actually, a True Martial artist should try to develop both the qualities in balance, as per his strength, career, and his permitted time schedule, whether he is an Amateur or an Professional ! Oh man. I trained there in 2006. I remember they would make all the foreigners turn off their cameras when the coach would whoop the students asses

Focus On Taekwondo I just did a team visit. I would have loved to taken a course there!
