INGREDIENTS: * 5 cups / 775 g bread flour (substitute with all purpose, plain flour, Ghana hard flour)
* 1/2 cup/ 75 g sugar
* 1 cup powdered milk (midi brand)
* 1/4 tsp nutmeg
* 1 tbsp yeast
* 1 tsp salt
* 1/4 / 60 ml Cup of melted butter
*1/2 tbsp baking powder (optional for added lightness)
* 1/2 tsp pineapple extract (substitute with vanilla extract or almond extract)
* 2 cups / 480 ml water (must be room temperature)

In ghana we have two kinds of puff puff or forgot, the wet inside one and dry inside one...I think Nana Aba has on her channel

Blessed new week, enjoyed this video noticing used white bread flour, can whole wheat be substituted too, this recipe has name on it. Explained excellent lady. Almost similar but little from fried dumplings Jamaican make.delicious and yummy 😋 👍🙌💃🌟😇
Yes, please, you may definitely use whole wheat flour and I recommend adding a little bit of all purpose flour or bread flour to get as much gluten as possible, for the best texture❤️

So I tried this today but my yeasts did not rise like yours after 15minutes, I also added evaporated because I did not have the powdered one, my dough did not rise after about 2 hours 🤣🤣
