I have been wanting to do that too. We have a pool in the neighborhood that would work great but the virus has everything shut down. But I am going to try and do a video that shows the different fly actions in the future and eventually have a clip in each tying video that shows the action of the fly I am going to tie. But to get the footage that I really want I have to be able to get underwater with the flies and I just can't do that right now.
I'm new to fly tying, & when you make a video you would back the camera up so we came see how you cut craft fur of the material it is own .I have watch a lot of you fly tiers & the cameras are always so close & there are times if you would back camera up a little we could learm more. thank you
I've got no doubts fish will eat it but the grey material on the wing has flaired way too much for my liking. A clousers defining characteristic is an elongated minnow profile. Tied the way you have I don't think it should be refered to as a clouser, even a variation. Just my opinion.
So when that buck tail hits water it lays down and good bit. And there aren't enough changes or substitutions of materials to call it a different pattern. But I appreciate the critic
Not sure the title should be improved clouser minnow. The OG has caught so many fish I don’t think the improved label is justified. Maybe clouser variation would have been better.
That's one helluva Clouser minna. Kickass.
Okay nice fly we all need to put some in our box for sure
Always good to try variations on traditional. Love it and have started tying a few for the next trip. Cheers from Australia 😊😎
Thank you sir! I never leave home without one!
Cool man. I'd like to see the action a lot of these flies produce, there aren't very many videos doing that

@@LostAngler gotcha. Makes sense. I was thinking like a fish tank, but that wouldn't get the full motions of stripping and stuff
