Gene who's in his 80's has trained in Judo in Japan and United states in many schools thru out his career. Gene has always given credit to the Pro Wrestlers for teaching him certain finishing holds. You would think with a credible Martial Artist like Gene that he would give credit to Judo for learning the Double wrist lock aka Kimura technique.

FYI Kimura knew this submission long before he met Karl Gotch in the 60s. He actually broke Helio Gracies arm with this hold- a full decade before he met Gotch. Gotch also trained extensively in Judo, and admired the sport.
