Terraria OP Ranger? Not here! In this Terraria Master Mode challenge, HappyDays BANS all the Ranger Class OP Weapons and is forced to use all the weird and interesting weapons and ammo-types that sadly get ignored in favor the the OP ranged weapons like the Daedalus Stormbow & Megashark.

super star cannon is never used, but it does what you expect to. Annihilate Destroyer and events. Phantom Phoenix deserves a chance too, even if it's from the event that must not be named.
The star cannon is banned though.

edit: I thought it was like a whole Google docs, and it turns out it was just in the description. nevermind, the super star cannon should technically be allowed since it's comparatively not as strong in hard mode as its predecessor.
@@Kio_Kurashi Yeah, but the Super Star Shooter likely isn't. This series is less OP weapons and more overused weapons that are banned. Not many people use the Super Star Shooter, so I bet it's allowed.
personally i've always liked livestream highlights where you can read the chat! it's fun to see what the audience is saying

For the non op run again I suggest banning every sword that is needed to craft the zenith since all of them are op INCLUDING the copper shortsword. Hope this helps!
Yeah I think for melee most projectile swords should be banned! 🍪

You could try the pulse bow, never seen anyone use it before. For those that don't know it is sold by the travelling merchant when all 3 mech bosses are killed

It was a cool weapon but there's too many weapons that are better or easier to obtain so yeah he should use it.

I would love to see another video edited by Andy about Happy Days master mode fails! If you didn't know, there is an entire playlist from several years ago with Happy dying/failing a lot and it is hilarious!😂
for the Sandgun you can use Hallowed or Crimson/Corruption Sand for more damage since those types of sand can pierce enemies

Personal recommendations on the ranger playthrough are A. The dart gun/pistol (crim/corrupt mimics) B. The Uzi, if it isn't banned. Or
C. The toxicarp, a weapon fished up in corruption.
Oh also, please get the endless arrow/musket pouch, to make sure you never run out

Happy for the destroyer corrupted sand blocks with the sand gun because they can pierces the segment of the destroyer, and the stream was amazing can not wait for more 🍪

Im suggesting to get a couple of this bows and you can suggest what to ban some of this weapons :ice bow,marrow,phantom phoenix and pulse bow
The dart gun/rifle is a decent weapon and feels like its not quite used so i hope you give it a try if it isnt in the ban list

banning the chlorophyte shotbow and the snowman cannon, as well as nanite bullets would be nice to see! also, thoughts on rocket related/special weapons for this series? things like jack-o-launcher, stake launcher, flamethrower?
Maybe get the toxicarp? If you get crates trying to catch it, titanium bars can be shimmered into ore, and titanium ores can be shimmered into adamantite ore, which can then be used to craft the frost armor.
Have you ever done a hardcore run?

Now that your in Hardmode happy. You can use Hallow sand for your sand gun. Also, ichor darts might help you a lot. And if your lucky Crimson mimics might drop a dart gun. And once you beat a mech boss you can make the Super Star Shooter. Not sure if it’ll be banned since it’s a direct upgrade to the Star Cannon.

I think don't ban the Dart rifle or Dart pistol but ban Ichor darts. More fun that way. And I would reccomend using and farming for the Marrow! The Marrow mixed with the Dart rifle and crystal darts would be very good!
Also. Use Launchers in this series! Launchers are seriously underrated! Ban the Electrosphere launcher though. A bit too strong in my opinion.

@@happydaysgames I personally love using launchers. Because people just forget about them. Even though Shroomite has a rocket helmet. Anytime I play ranger, I always use the Electrosphere launcher and Snowman cannon! Very fun weapon to use. And absolutely busted after Plantera!
The Dart weapons are very strong with Crystal darts but I think it's better than cheesing boss fights with Ichor... My favourite custom crafted ammo for guns in Terraria is Explosive ammo. Just a lot of fun to shred the destroyer with explosive ammo!
Try using the pulse bow if you see it from the traveling merchant it’s decent just got buffed but nobody uses it it’s post plantara I think but it can carry you to pillers
There is also a good option in the dart rifle
Happy try to get Dart Rifle or Dart Pistol. They will surely carry you through mech bosses.
Also upgrade your armor dammit.
HAPPY HAPPY you need to get frost armor or ancient armor and wings!

Hi Qwerty! Mage is a fun class as it has lots of different types of weapons (direct, area of effect, debuffs) so you can mix and match them! 🍪
Though you are likely not asking for my opinions, my favorite class is summoner because I love the semi passive side to the class

Please get the toxicarp it’s a great weapon for queen slime but not very strong generally
I think you should farm for quiver. Without quiver shadowflame bow is extremely unreliable
