Napier is the first coach since Spurrier's departure that I have allowed to build a program. I have no expectations of winning championships in the third year of a complete overhaul in the SEC. Their offense will be good. Their defense will be better. Who knows if that will equate to more wins?

If they fire Napier, it's a complete rebuild and Florida likey loses Lagway to the portal. I think Florida's best case is keeping Napier and try to reach .500 in 2024 and 2025. In 2026, UF could have 8-9 win expectations with an experienced Lagway at QB.

The DL looks like it's in pretty good shape stacking talent. However, the OL is a big issue and hasn't been solved despite having 2 OL coaches. A poor\mediocre OL will hinder the offense regardless of the talent at the skilled positions. Look at what Cristobal is doing at Miami. He brought in the #1 OL class in 2023 and the #1 DL class in 2024. That guy is getting it done on the trail. As much criticism as he gets for his gameday coaching, his trenches can compete with any team in the country. Napier has to build his trenches or UF won't be competitive on a consistent basis.

His process for selecting coaches is clearly flawed, His leadership has produced multiple scandals, throughout his coaches, and he clearly has no influence inside the SEC as we are facing what is considered the hardest schedule in football history. This is a horrible take. Thanks for at least acknowledging we got Badger. We also got Joery Slackman, the best player on Penn and the best defensive player coming from the Ivy League. We MASSIVELY improved the talent in our secondary with Bridges and Turner (not to mention the returning experience). Also, paired with Slackman, Justus Boon will be returning. Etienne was not our "best running back". Different skill sets, but him and Montrell are pretty even. He won't be missed. Our offensive line got a massive upgrade with the transfer of Crenshaw-Dickson from SDSU allowing Knijeah Harris to move inside more naturally. All these moves greatly improve our depth as well, which was a major problem laat year. This is just a bad take all around. UF was the youngest team in 2023. Billy played young players last year. Brings mistakes but will pay off this season.
