The fact that he chose an English song even though he isn't fully comfortable with his English skills is just- wow. He did such an amazing job. I feel like Younghoon is a very underrated member of TBZ and when he is talked about it's only for his visuals. However, he's a really talented vocalist too. He was able to convey the emotions of this song even though it isn't in his first language. That high note towards the end too- I hope more ppl will come to realize what a gem Younghoon and the rest of TBZ are.

So, hear me out. It's my first time listening to this song and a story just came into my head. Well, I can see that you may interpret the song in any ways but this just hits me. The story goes like this: Younghoon lost the one who's precious to him because of depression. Because of that person's death he lost the purpose, will, or inspiration to live his life to the fullest. Now, he is in the stages of grief and the song perfectly suits the cinematic storyline they came up with.
This is so good and I totally agree. It made me look at it a different way and really opened my eyes. This video actually made me cry along with his sweet and soft vocals. Like seriously Younghoon it is not funny making me cry 😭😂. Younghoon deserve the world I mean it❤️❤️❤️

it's been three years and i still come back to this. the raw emotions from it all will always leave me in awe. younghoon did such a wonderful job in expressing the hurt and pain. most especially in the way that he sang it. the mv was well-made. i love all the a to z videos, but this is a personal favorite.

I'm coming back again after watching the official mv from 2013, how this song captures so many real-life problems and Younghoon tries to open up a new perspective. In this cover, he has his inner conflict, which he tried to giving up on his life and asking for the surrounding, universe, and God of how he should do by say something that he can sense. While in exhausting life, he tries to write several letters (suic***al last letter?) but end up burn it every night and continue waking up and living his usual activity. And the climax completes the story by the scene of how a flower will bloom, a bubble pop off, and he looking at the sky. This is really more just a cover because every time I watch it I'm crying you really Younghoon. Well, Younghon is a really good actor, and knowing this song is just beyond than love song or ballad song but a reminder to reflect on our own life.

life in society is so hard and painful. after stumbling and falling many times because of how hard it is out there, you try to make it better and pretend as if you’re happy. waking up, going to school, going to work, and finally arriving home just to sleep a maximum of 4 hours before resting back again on the same bed and repeating the process over and over again. being in pain everyday, not knowing what to do to make life better. writing your life down everyday as if it was a book, a book without an ending. wanting to have something to look forward to, not wanting to have a repetitive life. going through everyday pain because of society’s expectations, always trying to reach them, not having a definite answer to life. getting hurt everyday yet ignoring the pain just to get through life. ignoring what’s happening to you and overworking yourself excessively. there’d be no other choice at the end; you’d just have to keep working more and more just to have a place in society. giving up on the happiness of life itself just to follow the footsteps of everyone else in society. that isn’t called life. life is all about courage and determination, picking yourself up after the hardships life puts you through and replacing it with happiness. if you’re too weak to stand up, it’s okay. find your courage and find your determination to get back up again. find the happiness you deserve. find the thing that helps you get back up and face life. life won’t be all about smiles or all about pain, but if you get to a point of satisfaction in your life, then continue to be that way. whatever hardships life puts you through, just know that you’re strong, even if you feel like there’s no strength left in you. there’s always going to be that one thing that lifts you up. be strong and face life with a smile on your face. it’ll all be worth it. it’s okay not to be okay.

결국 시간이 지나서... 싫은 게 많던 열아홉 살은 현재를 잃고도 현재를 살아가고 있음. 그래도 더는 그때의 미성숙한 소년이 아님. 자신이 싫어했던 것들이 사실 부러웠던 것들이라는 것도 인정할 수 있게 되었음. 누군가 자신의 불우한 처지를 눈치채든 말든 상관없이 달고 다니던 자잘한 생채기들도 이제는 잘 숨기고 다닐 만큼 단정한 스물다섯이 되었겠지. 하지만 투박했고 불완전했고 싫은 게 많던 열아홉 살보다 겉으로는 단정한 지금이 속으로는 더 괴로울 듯. 모든 게 싫던 어린 시절 유일하게 좋아한 사람이 떠났으니까... 그래서 love leaves duality (사랑은 이중성을 남긴다) 라는 문구도 다양하게 해석 가능. 첫째로는 말 그대로 영훈의 이중성. 상대가 떠난 후 남은 건 이중적인 영훈의 모습임. 겉은 단정하게 그 사람을 잊은 것처럼 보이지만 속으로는 전혀 그렇지 못하고 수신인 없는 편지만 수백 장 쓰는 그런 이중적인 삶... 둘째는 우리의 이중성. 영훈은 그 사건 이후로도 오 년이 흘러 이제 어엿한 성인이 되었음. 하지만 영훈이 여전히 마음 한 구석에 품고 있는, 함께 10대 시절을 버티던 현재의 모습은 더 자라지 못하고 사고 전 마지막으로 본 열아홉 그 순간 그 모습에 머물러 있음. 영훈의 현재에는 현재가 없기 때문임. 결국 시간이 흘러 어른이 된 나, 오 년 전 그 모습으로 멈춰 있는 너. 그런 우리의 이중적인 모습을 나타낸 것으로도 해석했음.
+ (실제 가수들과 관련없는 그저 영상 속 주인공 인생 궁예입니다) 영상 계속 번갈아서 보는 중인데 둘 다 경제적 형편이 어려웠던 것 같진 않음. 내 궁예로는 영훈 가정환경은 궁핍 & 육체적 폭력... 현재 가정환경은 금전적으로 여유로웠던 것 같다. 영훈이가 쓴 편지에 보면 네가 선물해 준 패딩?을 입고 이런 말 있고... 여튼 돈도 있고 맞고 자라는 것도 아닌데 오히려 정신적으로 결핍되고 힘든...? 그런 소년이었던 듯. 결국 다른 원인이지만 세상에 대한 결핍과 미움이라는 공통점이 두 소년 사이에 큰 라포로 작용했던 듯. 그리고 갑작스럽게 난 자전거 사고라기엔 현재가 영상 내내 담담하고 초연한 모습에다 무언가 굳건히 결심한 사람처럼 화면을 가만히 바라보는 장면도 있고... 어쩌면 스스로 선택한 결과 같기도 함. 사랑이 지나가면 노래 가사도 그렇고... ‘두근거리는 마음은 아파도 이젠 그대를 몰라요’ 이 가사를 보면 화자는 상대를 알고 여전히 상대에 대한 사랑을 품고 있지만 억지로 모르는 척하는 느낌이랄까... 그리고 ‘그대의 허탈한 모습 속에 나 이젠 후회 없으니’ 이 가사가 제일 컸음. 어떤 선택을 결심했길래 그대를 두고 가는 건지. 그럼에도 후회가 없단 건지... 난 이게 의도한 자전거 사고라고 봄. 그리고 영훈 노래 say something 가사도 ‘그곳에서는 잘 지내라’ 이런 어감이 아님. 영어 가사 맥락 보면 ‘뭐라고 말 좀 해 봐. 네가 원했다면 네가 어디로 가든 나는 따라갈 수 있었는데. 지금 벌어진 모든 일이 내 이해를 넘어섰어. 내가 너한테 닿지 못한 거니. 그렇다면 미안해.’ 이 가사임. 실수로, 사고로 떠난 사람한테 할 말은 아닌 것 같음. 살짝... 나를 두고 그런 선택을 한 사람에 대한 원망과 슬픔도 느껴지고 모든 이해를 넘어섰다는 거 보면 나를 두고 혼자 간다고? 이런 충격도 느껴지고, 내가 너에게 닿지 못했냐는 거 보면 설마 네 선택을 내가 이해 못해 줄까 봐 그렇게 혼자 결정하고 가버린 거야? 하는 물음 같고, 네가 기어코 그런 선택을 해야만 했고 그걸 말해 줬다면 나도 따라갈 수 있는데 왜 말하지 않았어. 이런 비참함도 느껴짐.

김영훈.. 나 오랜만에(약5시간)다시 찾아왔어.. 이 영상은 진짜 탈빵비,탈빠,탈케하려고 간당간당한 빵비들한테 보여주면 눈물 흘리며 다시 제자리로 돌아올 영상 중 1나다... 학생 신분이라 시험때문에 탈빠 생각 약간 했지만 역시나는 정말 역시나.. 난 평생 김빵훈만을 외칠게 틀림없다... 내가 그래도 꽤 오래 케이팝을 해왔지만 이렇게 오랜기간 한 사람을 좋아해본게 잘 없는데.. 내가 얼빠라 얼굴보고 빠졌지만 보면 볼수록 참 매력이 많은거같다...... 영통후기같은거보면 목소리도 좋은데 다정해서 미치겠고 브이앱에서 보니까 연기를 즐기면서 하는게 너무 잘 보이고 그만큼 성과가(에투보도 그렇고 연애혁명이나 곧 있을 원더우먼!!) 따를 수 있다는게 김영훈 팬으로써 너무 자랑스럽고 대견햐♡♡ 또 거짓없고 숨김없는 모습이 진짜 너무 좋고 유니버스 프메로 팬들한테 표현해줘서 너무좋아.. 진짜 난 단단히 잘못걸린듯. 절대 헤어나올수가 없어; 빵비들은 평생 널 응원한다 꺅
