8 More Irish Curses

- On this, the 3rd Day of Ditchoween, we are taking another venture into the wonderful world of Irish curses. This time, we're looking at the kinds of people and circumstances that might typically conjure up a curse.
For example, many of the curses stem from the time of the Famine/Genocide (An Gorta Mór - The Great Hunger), and were designed against landlords and evictions.
But the most powerful of all is the widow's curse, as powerful as the priest's curse, maybe even moreso! And that's not to even mention the blacksmiths....

I subscribed to you earlier this year because I found out that my heritage hails from Ireland (my grandmother came to America from North Munster) and I wanted to find witch's in Ireland to connect with. I wanted to Learn more about my heritage, more about the land....The history and no better than from a Irish Witch right?

Curses are class Tara , just brilliant . I heard great spakes growing up , have to write them down as they pop into my head . One was “ she’s (me ) out randavooing again .” I only discovered years and years later it was roundevous......she was ahead of her time with her french, but I still prefer randavooing 😂
