It was so dry and hot looking, but so beautiful. That was a huge looking tent.(nice).That goat was high tailing it wasn't he!,,lol.and I didn't even realize that there's wild cows! So,thank you again.ill be keeping up with y'all.
The tent is big but is easy to set up and pack away. The goat was definitely high tailing it. Ranchers are allowed to free range their cattle on BLM land so you see alot of them out there.
One sharp Snazzberry jt! Love love love the views. Makes me want to wander west. Thanks again for bringing us along!
Yes it is sharp and thank you for going along with us!
I just binged watched four episodes and I have top say it was an enjoyable time. You do nice camera work and editing.
Thank you for the compliment and watching.
Another beautiful video. I can’t imagine how much time it takes to film, edit and produce them. Thanks for all y’all do
It takes awhile. Thanks for watching.
Love the scenery!
We did too!
Great episode, looking forward to the next one!
Thank you!
I began to second guess the decision to drive all night from Wyoming to meet up with you guys. But it ended up being well worth it! Thanks for letting me tag along! Can't wait to catch up with you at Rendezvous in the Ozarks! Until then... safe travels!
Glad you decided to come along. Hope to see you at the Rendezvous.
another great video
Thank you!
Excellent! A lot of people are saddened by Lake Powell getting lower but we all have to remember it is not a natural lake and actually would be a lot better for the environment if nature just took its course and let all the small streams that run through the area flow again. But either way it sure is awesome. Wonder if you guys will go through Burr Trail Road and the switchbacks.
Burr Trail Road is coming up in the next video. Thanks for watching.
WOW!!! That's really beautiful.good job guys.i love watching your videos
Thank you for the compliment and watching.
Wow the lake is really low. Was out that way 3 yrs ago. Thought it was low then .definitely a dire situation for people who use the water. Great footage as usual from you folks. If you get to new England and maine this year. There should be no shortage of water even if its low. Happy trails. 👍
Yes it was really low. We will be up that way the last 2 weeks of September!
Another great video. Bet you didn't see another vehicle as you crossed the Kaporowitz Plateau. Did you notice the coal seam fires about a mile off trail to your east along Croton Road?
You are right, we didn't see another vehicle up there. I noticed a coal seam but did not see any smoke.
Amazing land out there and so different from the forest of the Southeast. I'm not sure if you guys have any family in the flooded areas, but prayers for everyone effected.
It is amazing for sure. We have several friends that were affected by the floods but thankfully they are all safe. And yes prayers for all that were involved in the horrific floods.
Thanks for the Vid! I like watching you and Ms. Deb enjoying your adventures together. Personally I am a mountain, tree, stream kind of guy but I can appreciate you liking that country. That Canyon looked pretty cool though. By the way are you guys going to the Rendezvous in the Ozarks in mid October? I'm going to try to get there as long as covid, gas prices don't blow again, and who would leave out MONKEY POX! Shesh!
Thanks for going along with Ms Deb and I! We also really like the greener areas. We are going to try to get to the Rendezvous, maybe we will see you there
Looks awesome there I've been wanting to go to that area ever since I started watching Matt's offroad recovery and fab rats there around the Hurricane Utah area.
It's a great area to explore.
Good video, can hardly wait to get out there. Do you feel drawn more towards the west than you do the east?
We are more Intrigated by the west because there is so much of it that we have not seen. That being said there are still places in the eastern US that we are still looking forward to exploring.
Can't wait to explore that area! We really enjoyed Escalante and the slot canyons. A trip over to Capital Reef is WELL worth the visit! Wondering what kind of MPG you're getting on your trip? Thanks!
13 mpg
Nice job on the vid.....how do you find routes?? Thx tomk fdny
We pick an area then use Gaia to plan our main route around areas of interest. We also use Trails Off Road and look at Backcountry Discovery Routes.
@@CoddiwompleOverland awesome ...thx✌
How many miles did you guys travel from the start of the trail through Lake Powel and out of the desert.
I'd be happy to answer but I'm not sure exactly what your asking.
Do you need any permits or anything like that?
Not sure about now but you didn't when we were there
How did you come up with the name "Coddiwomple"?
The definition of Coddiwomple is to aimlessly wander towards an unknown destination. We just thought it fit!
So much for Alstrom Point 😥
😪 yes its sad.
