At 7:37 is not move r1 into r3. The value of the register r1 is COPIED (not moved) into the register r3. By moving a value implies that the source register doesn't contain its value anymore. But in this case register r1 and r3 will have the same content.

3:15 For the table listing the instructions, the slide notes at the bottom that the "complete table is printed in the book for reference". Which book is being referred to?

    Hi!
I'm wondering if the number at the end of Branch and Jump instruction are different. Your video shows that if let's say:
beq R1, R2, 145 then if R1==R2, the sequence will jump 145 instructions forward.
j 145, the sequence will go to sequence number 145.
am I correct to assume that the number at the end of branch instruction, signifies the number of sequences you want to skip, while the number for jump instruction, signifies the particular number of sequence you want to go to?

Do we only have add immediate? I mean, perhaps we can have an immediate value for other operation too?

At 6:46 you verbally say R29 and R30 are the last two registers, the writing next to you says "R29/R31", but aren't the last two registers R30 and R31? Anyone have any clarifications? Much appreciated, thank you.

2:17 in this case we have two independent operations: t0 and t1 register. How we can execute this operations on different processors core?

youtube makes it super hard to find anything related to MIPS programming. its almost like they don't want the majority of people knowing how to actually program a computer. they just want ants for their colony...

low level computing is too mechanical for most people. literally feels like rocket science to the average layman.
