One thing struck me : I have grown up through the Cold war .. but I had always expected/hoped that Russian ICBMs wouldn't work or would miss. It seems that I was wrong on both counts. Scary.
Why would you expect something like that? I can understand the hope, but expecting a space power that can't make a decent ICBM is a weird way to look at things.😅😅
I remember hearing a lot of people dismiss Russia's nuclear threats saying their nuclear arsenal is old, degrading, poorly maintained, and a victim of government corruption. This is quite a message to send that not only is the old stuff still a threat and greatly maintained but that they're full on progressing in ICBM tech dangerously fast
Every ICBM has several warheads so the thing that you see falling from the sky in the video is not ICBM. Its actually warheads that it transports. It essentially opens when it comes near its target and it releases all of the warheads that can then travel separated from each other and hit multiple targets in this way. This also ensures that not all of them can be intercepted and it makes it impossible to prevent a nuclear strike.
these are blank warheads . imagine if those warheads had tones of explosives each . then imagine if the warheads had nukes in it. there is no intercepting this after it separates from the booster

This is a crude example, but I want to be clear. It is impossible to know everything, no matter how well-trained a soldier you are. At least because your superiors always know more than you, and will not give you complete information about the operation, because you do not need it. Your task is to complete your task, another platoon/company/squad - their tasks. They do not need to know about the operation as much as, for example, a brigade commander. The less your head is cluttered with extraneous information that does not concern you, the more successfully you will complete your task.
Nobody knows what rs-26 is like. It was in the news 10 years ago, and later was told that it is not going to be in service in favor of more havier variant.
It can move at sea at speed 30 kts, if they are trying to hit it with unguided conventional warhead, it would evade it by about 5 km. It might kinda survive even 30 kT nuke at that distance.
In all fairness IRBMs are too valuable to be used on carriers. Russia has many more cost effective counter measures for carriers in the form of Zircon, Bastian-P, P-800 Oniks and Brahmos variants. Hypersonic missiles have made obsolete power projection through carriers a long while ago.
The speed at which these ICBMs re-enter the atmosphere is so high that you could fill the warhead with rocks, and it would still cause massive destruction. If this video is real, it's no wonder these weapons are nearly impossible to intercept once the warhead re-enters the atmosphere.

- The use of long-range weapons by the enemy against the Russian Federation cannot affect the course of the special operation. Russia is ready to resolve disputed issues by peaceful means, but is ready for any development of events;
- For humanitarian reasons, Russia will warn civilians in advance in the event of the use of such systems as the Hazel;
- The latest Russian missiles attack targets at a speed of 2-3 km per second, no enemy air defense and missile defense systems intercept them;
- The conflict in Ukraine has acquired elements of a global character after attacks by long-range Western missiles on Russia;
- Russia considers itself entitled to use weapons against military installations of countries that allow the use of their weapons against our country;
- The Russian Federation will decide on the further deployment of medium-range and shorter-range missiles, depending on the actions of the enemy.

The nuclear version of the "Oreshnik" can carry 200 "Hiroshima"
The Oreshnik missile can carry both a high-explosive fragmentation charge and a nuclear one
"The missile is quite modernized, good, with a range, most likely, about 6,000 km, with a separable warhead - 6 or 8, while each is most likely capable of carrying a charge of hundreds of kilotons, which exceeds the total charge dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki by a factor of 100-200. It was a demonstration of a dummy that could be in nuclear gear. Most likely, the Oreshnik is already on combat duty."

When this was launched nobody in the west knew where it was going? why was there not an alarm raised?
Poor SHMYHALS
Bozo bidens announcement that they were giving Ukraine long range missles was your warning....
Everyone knew that.....
RF has new missiles, US hs old of questionable state.
Scary but well-made video.
I guess they still have plenty more where that one came from
Every ICBM has several warheads so the thing that you see falling from the sky in the video is not ICBM.
The kinetic energy is equivalent to explosives.
We got WW3 before GTA6
Looks like angels coming down from the sky.
I was expecting that
Fortunately the MIRVs were not nuclear.
Man that ww3 stream gonna be lit 🔥🔥🔥
Commander DPA Thanks
Unbelievable fast shovel with chip from wash machine.
Jesus Christ that’s fast😮the engine in that thing is insane 😮
Each ICBM has 8 - 10 warheads. They are launched out of what’s called a bus the bus fired the warheads to different locations for maximum impacyb
And the Russophobes said that they would never work...
Putin just announced it was a new medium range ballistic missile called Oreshnik there's nothing known about this missile other than very recent reports, either way devastating weapon.
Love (this channel)
Russia is trying to send a message, but to whom? The current US administration is a bunch of crazies. Holding out for Trump.
Trump is also not much better considering how eager he was to arm Ukraine and how he was very sanction-happy.
Trump is the ultimate con man. He stared arming Ukraine, u expect u to stop such a profitable business as war?
Putin said that its a new experimental medium range balistic missile called the "Oreshnik"
Technically it wasn't an ICMB (intercontinental ballistic missile), but the intermediate range ballistic missile.
And it wasn't RS-26 but something new called "Oreshnik" (hazel) with "rods of God" as payload.
Wrong that is an Intercontinental ballistic missile cause Russia and USA have an agreement of not having a Intermediate range ballistic missile treaty so both basically have no IRBM
@@Darko-kn6il The USA bailed from that treaty if i recall.
@@Darko-kn6il Wrong, it was 100% IRBM. The treaty was scarped by the US, Trump actually, long ago. That's exactly why it's a new IRBM not known previously.
@@Darko-kn6ilno it isn’t
@@Darko-kn6illos acuerdos caducaron el año pasado.
❤DPA Teacher.
Internet Ballistic Missile! Thanks for the laugh even though the news themselves are sad.
still some of so called "analyst" said that Putin won't use nuke because the "political cost" is too high for him. We are doomed😑
The cruise missiles hit Yushmesh, you can see the rocket in the photos, that rocket is outside the Yushmesh territory. Yushmesh is the rocket factory here in Dnipro
Украина не умерла - украина Гонит😂
Не знаешь что за опыты Американцы провели на Украинцах?
Из 1000 чи 999 Дебилы.
Может после 2014 года их от куда свозят в Нашу Украину???
Салют с Крыма😊
SUPER RAKIETKA ĎAKUJEM TI ZA POPIS
I agree maybe not armed. Thanks for your closing remarks.
Looked like Helldivers orbital drop, FREEDOM!!
FOR DEMOCRACY!!!
The surprizing thing is that the Usa could not see or track it as stated by the white house 😂 no sh*t
😆😅🤣exactly ..
I wonder what that terrain looks like today. I know there's a missile factory in Dniepro.
.. it ... was... a missile factory there
If they provok Putin it may will hit the real one the missile factory in Dniepro
Putin is saying " We are going to play chess not poker!" If west doesnt get it now than really....
First-rate coverage!
The arrogance of Washington, NATO, and Kiev is off the chart.
And incredibly dangerous.
underestiming russia isn't a wise move that can bring catastrophe in the world and human kind !! be serious !! do not provoke russia !! russia is still showing kind in special military operation in ukraine despite provocations!!
Wow, you actually have some good analysis on the ICBM vs Weeb and MilitarySummary
"actually"? =\
You do know that amongst the 3 of us, I'm the only one that was a professional soldier? (although this had anothing to do with analysis)
@@DefensePoliticsAsia I did not know that about you but I knew that about them
They just mentioned it in passing, in their videos with no analysis at all. So I am glad you analyzed it!
@@DefensePoliticsAsia And where did you serve? I don't want to offend, but the branches and types of troops are quite different from each other, and in any case you are unlikely to know everything, including doctrines for responding to certain threats, strategy for deploying large troop groups, tactics for small units, actions of logistics units during combat operations, or combat crew numbers of a nuclear submarine.
Oreshnik
blinking is from car alarms.
That is not an RS 26 Rubezh missile..it is an Oreshnik medium range ballistic missile...
How much is an aircraft carrier worth after watching this video?
It can move at sea at speed 30 kts, if they are trying to hit it with unguided conventional warhead, it would evade it by about 5 km. It might kinda survive even 30 kT nuke at that distance.
In all fairness IRBMs are too valuable to be used on carriers. Russia has many more cost effective counter measures for carriers in the form of Zircon, Bastian-P, P-800 Oniks and Brahmos variants. Hypersonic missiles have made obsolete power projection through carriers a long while ago.
And if someone doesn't get it, the sequel will be next.
The speed at which these ICBMs re-enter the atmosphere is so high that you could fill the warhead with rocks, and it would still cause massive destruction. If this video is real, it's no wonder these weapons are nearly impossible to intercept once the warhead re-enters the atmosphere.
We remember from grade school days that an ICBM carries a MIRV which carries 6 packs of 4+ missiles. Autocomplete knew what a MIRV was.
With this kind of speed, i cant even turn around to see what hit me. zelensky is nuts if he wants to take this on. Nobody would fault him if he just surrenders. This is madness.
