After all of the Hardcore series' that have been populating UA-cam lately, it was really refreshing to be able to see someone slow down a little bit and take the normal Survival mode to the next level. Really enjoying it so far, I've subscribed and am looking forward to more!
there's a brand new minecraft youtuber, Deathbashur, he's making a slow pasted minecraft series called, the old school let's play. i think it'd worth checking out!
@@ImShrammyToo Inside the pond could be custom fountain! Or it's could be small natural one surrounded by custom fruit trees benches and stuff. Oh if you need mangrove just take emeralds and wait for wandering trader to arrive with sapling. Again no adventure but at least it's less time consuming?
You know? Screw it, combine all, custom fountain, natural pond and fruit tree/tree garden!!! That's will be unique one, and point out the area is farmland of sort.
I second a pond in the middle! And i think the building on the other side of the mine should be a storage house. For when you start to have more than you can cleanly store. Plus it would make sense to have a large storage/workshop area by the mines.
Also, you could build some custom maple trees to explain the orange wood, with tripwire hooks and levers running into cauldrons filled with fire res or something to look like sap. I think that the spruce and oak leaves would fit, as well as using a few pots to thin out sections of the tree. Red sand, if you get it, would look good as a wall
28:00 as someone who's sick of all the rtx/highly detailed stuff people seem to adore (I blame them for how the Minecraft movie looks lol) it's nice hearing someone compliment the base game. it's such a pretty game, man
I like using shaders every so often, but I’m not a fan of playing with them. Also my computer can’t handle shaders 24/7. I think the game is gorgeous with some small vanilla tweaks, though I will always use shaders for thumbnails lol
Hey shrammy I’ve been here since Madden 20 bengals franchise. I started watching this channel when I got into Minecraft last year. Your build are so good. And also it was funny seeing you intercept the ball with Joe rodregiez. Thanks for making so many memories my man
Hey shrammy, I've only recently found your channel but I want to say thank you! I watch these while I study for my bachelors and it's comforting. It's rare you find someone who just... plays the game nowadays. Anywho, keep it up!
You’re like a Minecraft carpenter! I love all the details on your builds, I would’ve never thought of half the things you do and it’s really inspiring!
I like this "old school" slower kinda play. It doesn't get as boring as quick as when you immediately have diamond armor in the first episode. Just wish there was more world exploration too. I get you wanna cut out when you wander around aimlessly, but I wanna see too what your world looks like and what you find along the way.
it would be really cool to see big piles of rock or stone outside the mine, a detail usually ignored in minecraft. A nice difference from just the normal hole in the wall with a couple wood slabs around it
the closest mangrove swamp is like 7500 blocks out lol (I used chunkbase, but I'm not gonna tell u what direction to go lol) 28:12 pizza... burgers... im hungry lol 31:40 haybell...
I don’t know if you know this, but if you place a hay bale under a campfire the smoke from the chimney goes up a lot higher, I think it adds a lot of aesthetic to the house
I love this series! Taking it slow is such a good break from all the fast paced hardcore videos we see today. Also, please for the love of god use scaffolding!
A village could be fun to build. Imagine multiple houses with villagers of a specific job there, you could also add storage for blocks related to that villager profesion.
Loving this series so far man. I’m new here, but it’s really refreshing and relaxing to watch this series. Can’t wait to see your progress and journey!!
I just found or videos, and I love them!! I hope you keep creating this amazing content and keep making people smile! P.S, in that area by your base, where you said to put a park, you should put a pond with some fish and one of your custom trees leaning over it with droopy leaves.
These first two episodes have been so amazing. So satisfying to watch, nice to see the builds take shape and change things as you go. The first base looks amazing, I’m going to try your texturing techniques in some of my own builds. Look forward to seeing the future of this world!
love this series! very good vibes and a good start to fall. I think a tower could look really cool next to the mines on the second retaining wall. Either way love your builds, keep it up. :)
Subbed because of cat; stayed for the chill series and the great water bucket action! 👍🏻 For the roof maybe swap with yellow terracotta later. Would love to see a little custom pond next to the house with a stream coming from a spring in the mountains.
So glad I found your channel! This reminds me of the early days of minecraft youtube (2011-2014) when people just played the game to enjoy it. It's so refreshing in the midst of so much gimmecky minecraft content. I guess the gimmecky stuff has its place but youtube is so oversaturated with it right now. These inspired me to play minecraft again. It reminded me why I enjoy it. Keep up the good work!
just met your channel these days and I'm loving every single vídeo of yours, they are really great to watch before bed! It's really cool to see the evolution of your world in this new survival series, keep posting, please!
Hey man, new subscriber, also an avid builder. New to the series and if I may, I’d like to give you some tips I’ve learned that might help texturing and matching some color palette’s. Using Composters could work and help break up the somewhat flat textures. Plus the orange-ish brown might look good mixed in with Spruce and maybe Acacia. Another tip would be a pattern of Walls and Fence Gates in a line. Connect the Fence Gate to the Wall and then place two gates in a row connected to each other, the second gate will raise. Say you do a pattern of Wall > Gate > Gate > Gate > Wall. The middle gate would be raised half a block. Possibly one more, to add some depth, adding stairs as feet to the frame of buildings. These aren’t critiques, just a fellow builder providing some tips that may help. Love the videos so far and definitely going to keep watching.❤
Another great video! I was recommended the first episode and really enjoyed it, so I'm glad to see another one! I like that you are not building too much too quickly but dont let that stop you from changing up the block pallette either. I'm really looking forward to the next episode! Also, I've heard that it can be good to have lots of air blocks in the leaves when building custom trees. You can also try to use different types of leaves to make highlights. For example, using azalea leaves on top to make it look like the sun is shining down on the tree. Just stuff to think about.
Love seeing a more chill realistic playthrough, I am on day 224 in my new survival world hand gave only made a home, a tower and starting on a trading hall. I just love exploring abd caving so I am slow😂 Also the "circle" in the middle could be a pond😊 Also could you pretty please nane in of the chickens Rut after my childhood chicken she use to sit on my shoulder and eat from my hand.
I really hope to see more mining/caves sessions. I feel like it’s usually a lot of building episodes and not so many mining/cave ones, I find them more exciting 😃 especially mineshafts 😆
Hey I found your videos from the first video and im loving the series so far! Personal preference but i think the background music after the death fits the more chill approach of the series. Keep up the good work though! 👍🏻
I just found this channel but I really like the pace of your videos and the way you build! I don’t know if you’ve ever played Skyrim but you should build some sort of monument near the peak of the mountain behind your house like High Hrothgar and have like the “9000 steps” leading up to it. Keep up the good work!
Also a tip for the orange blocks. You can probably make some of the pumpkins or add pumpkins that are lanterns to make it pop during the night? Just a suggestion is all.
Umm always lol, I created a starter house and I thought oh it just for a little, one year later, it still my house, never changed I just kept building my village, but then while I was afk, someone joined, and grabed my TNT, and blew it up, and killed me and burnt all my stuff, so I created a new world and making sure that not happening again
Nobody should really ever use youtubers nowadays as a metric for what to do in Minecraft. They're doing this for content, and gone are the early days of "X's Adventures in Minecraft" (still the best startup Minecraft series, IMO) when Minecraft was a new thing. Nowadays, everyone is focused on building epic and gorgeous things as quickly as possible, which is fun, but if you're a casual player, your first house will probably always be your house. You just upgrade it, and add rooms/levels.
Campfires and Kelp would solve your cooking and smelting issues. The campfires make fantastic fireplaces. (Great for cooking potatoes and meats) The kelp will smelt 20 items per block. :)
Hey Shrammy, just discover you'r channel lately ! Been watching a lot of you'r video, I really enjoy seing you play ! You'r builts are great and its always chill and fun to watch you play ! Continue that way man !
taller buildings that higher roof style suits it way better then just a rounded step up love the barn and starter builds keep up the build i may have to take some inspo from this video with the builds
I'd say that rails could be a great addition to the hanging hay bales on the barn. I mean connection from the signs that are all arount the hay to the fence that works as the holder of the hay

Honeycomb block would work with the pumpkins. It could be a good alternative to the yellow concrete powder.
How about a custom lake next to the house, in "front" of the (planned but not planned 😂) mine's entrance?
I like the idea of a pond next to the semi-somewhat not-half-tentatively-maybe actually-planned mine entrance

Honestly, I love this style of small building, and it is something that I try to do in my worlds and realms. This is going to be an awesome series
get bees cause the honeycomb block looks amazing with the pumpkins and it brings some yellow too it’s my favorite duo for orange and yellow !!
For thinner sections of the tree, use walls
S and fences
Also, the yellow accents remind me of honey, so you could do a building like that, but for bees, like the Reddit example
This is a good idea as well as some birch evergreen style trees

Didn't even have pumpkin in the game when I started you're making me feel old.
I feel that, I remember when they added ladders. 😂
found your channel in the last video now addicted to your videos 😂
Gonna love this new video

I have started my life on youtube watching survival let's plays so this is so nice and kind of nostalgic to me. I missed this type of vibe
4:55 you should build a castle on those mountains later on
The comedic timing of that death 😂😂😂
It was definitely all planned to go that way, I didn’t actually fail the water bucket clutch. I would never fail one of those
A chimney stack next to the mine would look great. Future use possible storage or elevator to get to the surface quicker.

Give the barn the big swooping roof and make a loft area inside it. Can hide a chicken coop breeder up there.
You could maybe use hay bales on the roof too, the straps would probably help darken it from a distance
You have suchhh a cute build style, I love the trees every video!
Hey man! I love today’s tree. I feel like it’s one I would try to climb as a kid, lol. Solid tree vibes.
Thanks! Nothing beats a good tree-climbing tree
A good building to put ontop of the retaining wall and next to the mine is a little factory which holds all of the stones collected from the mine.
