Hello. Thanks 🙏 For shore casting you need a medium light rod 7 ft long a reel of maximum size 2500. For the line use braided line 12-15lbs. The thinner and lighter the setup is you will be able to cast more far!! Now there are different brands lile noeby, shimano, daiwa etc which has different prices depending on your budget. I advise you to pass by Techspot at rose hill. They will advise you bases on your budget!!

Hello Dennis, my apologies for late reply. October is good it’s the starting season. You can do casting almost everywhere. For shore use medium light rod, serie 1000/2000/2500 reel with 12 lbs braided & fluorocarbon. Lure soft lure 8 cm with 7 gr jighead. Hope it helps
