ATL Rise of the Whiskey Loop

Saturday March 25th & Sunday March 26th 2023:
Spring is kicking into high gear with multiple severe weather outbreaks. Unfortunately for us here in Atlanta those storms have moved through in the early morning hours when they are at their weakest. But that doesn't stop us from pursuing all of the action at the World's Busiest Aerodrome! This week we bear witness to the south side's new end around taxiway - the Whiskey Loop - being used for the first time. Twas a majestic sight but that's not all we saw! The Delta charter flight to Lake Charles LA was more than likely going to the shop to be painted. There is a facility there that Delta uses to freshen up the paint job.
