All buses should have similar appearance in order to maintain the differentiation from private and other state buses. Im with the descision of removing decoration. Also with the purchase of new180 BS6 TATA buses, each of the 31 bus depo will have enough new buses for long routes. And the buses older than 15 years had been discontinued from the first week of April itself. Hence once again HRTC is ready to provide it's unmatched traveling experience to the passengers 👍

Its not about decoration but is to keep them up to date with proper functioning & neat & clean . Also coming to your point of attraction so these buses travel as an interstate & if you havve come across an incident where 2 buses from bilaspur depot , 1 from Nagrota Bagvan & 2 from Reckong peo along with Keylong depot have been penalised in Chandigarh & Ludhiana

Yes . i am definitely agree with the decoration of the buses. Tourist is always looking for the good looking buses.But is a matter of Government guidelines. I some states sticker is not allowed and heavy penalty on it.

Hrtc buses are government property. Not an inch of stickering should be allowed without authorisation. Hrtc drivers are public servants and not the owners of their allotted buses. They should know their place.

You are wrong. That nonsense does not attract tourists. The place attracts the tourists, not the nonsense stickers on a bus. Government did a great thing by deciding to remove all these nonsense bells and stickers from buses. Now they will look elegant and beautiful.
