We bought one of these for camping last year, and we've ended up using it in our new pop-up camper instead of the poorer quality one that came with it. Nice to use, flushes well, easy to empty and clean, and with the right chemical, virtually no smell. I would recommend it from my experience.
I have a different brand, but very similar to this, and I use it in my semi truck for the weeks I spend out on the road here in the U.S. Let me tell ya, for a woman who doesn't have a means of just peeing behind or next to the truck like a lot of men do (yuck!), this has been a life saver for me AND my kidneys. I use a good thick blue chemical to break down the solids and cut the odor and empty it once a week or so. Best investment I made for this job and would use it for camping or our boat.
I really did NOT need to see that guy sitting and fishing. I need bleach for my eyes. Besides, whatever happened to just digging a hole and filling it in after?
Here's my requirements: 1.flushable 2.totally odorless 3.height adjustable 4.can be emptied easily 5.no need to touch dirt when emptying Any meets my requirement?Money will not be a problem.
It's about time someone demonstrated the seating capacity, thanks.

I certainly would not go hiking in the Australian Outback without taking a portable toilet with me.
I am glad to see that you bury it - as I always urge people to do. So many people don't bother.

At 0:13 I just imagined someone taking a dump exactly where they had the portaloo sitting and getting busted by another 4x4 coming up the track.
