The American Battlefield Trust preserves America’s hallowed battlegrounds and educates the public about what happened there and why it matters. We permanently protect these battlefields for future generations as a lasting and tangible memorial to the brave soldiers who fought in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, and the Civil War.
Yes! Let's GOOOOOOOOO. Looking forward to it.
Looking forward to the videos. Thank you all!
Great way to kick off the tour. Looking forward to seeing your coverage!
Always a most impressive guest book here.
Thanks!
You are so right.
You have had some great releases too. Keep up the great work.
I enjoy Gary's narration. Thank you 😁
I'm looking forward to the Western Theater. My great great grandpa and great great uncle both fought in battles in Tennessee.
Can’t wait for the kick off of the tour of my home state of Tennessee! Greetings from Chattanooga!
Keep em coming!
Some Western Theater coverage..... finally......
I couldn’t be happier. I just moved from the Frederick Maryland area down to Nashville. Gettysburg was a second home. Just discovered your channel not too long ago and here you are coming down to where I am and I can enjoy more history that you can provide. Fantastic. Turns out I’m related to John L Coburn so From Kentucky all the way down to Atlanta I’m going to be all ears.
Welcome to the great state of Tennessee. Home of the Tennessee Volunteers and myself. Hope y’all enjoy it.
Awesome! Reading US Grants memoirs right now....cool
💯 % love it! Thanks for loving history especially the Civil War and not trying to erase it like those who are offended by everything it seems. Other than my College History Professor, Dr. Taylor, have I seen someone who brings a fresh perspective on the Civil War. Please keep going!!!
Stones River is my favorite big battle most folks never heard of.
Awesome. I have enjoyed visiting Shiloh, Stones River and Vicksburg.
No wayy!!!! Just in time for my reading of joseph altsheler s guns of shiloh. His civil war series is utterly phenomenal, I highly recommend. Thanks lads, your important work is much appreciated
Proud to be a supporter of the Trust for this mini-series
Thanks History Underground for steering me to this site .
Yes, thanks!
This is a very exciting tour ahead. Looking forward to seeing it.
To me the Civil War was very important as it defined this country as it is today and needs to remain in the educational system and teach the children of the importance of this war and the reason it had to be fought
All of your unwavering enthusiasm and resounding knowledge is beautiful to see in action. You guys are outstanding individuals and definitely loved by the Trust community, history buffs and armchair generals around the world.
Thank you. Looking forward to it. Dig you guys. You got me interested in the civil war. Tell us about how the soldier felt and draw us in emotionally not just facts about movements. If you can.❤👍thank you
Recently discovered and subscribed to you guys! Love getting back in touch with my inner CW buff. I appreciate the real locations and the enthusiastic storytelling.
What a wonderful Christmas present. Having moved to Tennessee within the last year, I am looking forward to these videos with particular interest.
Wow! What a great Christmas present!
Looking forward to your tour and insights. Although I've visited all of those sites except Parker's Crossroads, I unequivocally know that you will add to my education.
Can’t wait for the series and thank you for the work you do.
Yay, Shiloh, my ancestors lived there. Wish you'd do some stuff about Jackson and the various minor actions that my ancestor in the 6th Tennessee cavalry participated in.
Can’t wait!
Sounds awesome. Can’t wait. Wish y’all could have included Chattanooga. Safe travels!!
Check out our Facebook video library for some.
@@AmericanBattlefieldTrust thanks. I will do that.
Bring it on!
Adding the Tennessee map to my list of places to see. Beautiful park. And a great and creative way to share the tour itinerary!
Thank you, love the energy.
You guys are the best! I enjoy these so much. Thank you for making them.
This is going to be freakin awesome 👍
You guys are rock stars! Hope you enjoyed your TN travels! Sounds like you did!
I've almost finished watching this series and want to say THANK YOU for posting these fascinating videos. They've fuelled an interest in the American Civil War that was casual hitherto, but I'm now planning a family trip to the States which will include at least one visit to (most likely) Gettysburg. A different theatre of operations, but inspired by what you're doing.
Bravo!
After watching your swing through North Carolina earlier this year, I am excited to see this tour. Your videos are fantastic. Keep up the great work.
I visited Nashville for the first time ever back in 2014 and saw a number of battlefields including Shiloh.
One place I forgot to visit was Dolly Parton's home. Not much of a country music fan, but I wished I saw it.
I did visit Andy Jackson's home though. On my second trip to Tenn. I saw the battlefields around Chattanooga.
I enjoyed Corinth except having a flat tire. I'm from Leesburg, Va. not far from Balls Bluff. One thing I remember about
Ft. Negley was. that there was a triple A baseball field right next to it and I could actually see a game going on in progress
from inside the fort.
Thank you again...much appreciated...I can only dream of something like your high-value productions for my city's WWII history...but then dreams are fair compensation 😐
Thanks again 👍
I always have to make sure to catch the beginning of each series. Otherwise, I'm left to wonder how many windscreens you've brought 😂 always someone I suppose.
Btw. Great hat, Garry. 😂😉
This team is a very "Dynamic Duo".
Sweet!
I hope to see a week long presentation on Chicksmauga
Check our Sept 2018 Facebook video series for now!

These trips must be exhausting!
I have a 3 great grandpa buried at stones river cemetery Thomas A Dunlap spot A4 died of measles
UA-cam has the numerical order of this series backwards. This video is the LAST one, so a user must manually play the correct order instead of sitting back and just letting the videos play. Why is this series of videos laid out in reverse?
👍🏼🤠👍🏼
Why did you guys skip Chattanooga And Chickamauga
Chattanooga and Chickamauga are in our Civil War Georgia Tour Series: ua-cam.com/video/W321PX2PfDw/v-deo.html
