you either challenge it with a fast move on wake up or step it but its a mind game in the end if the paul knows what he's doing, he'll just do another move to wallsplat you if he knows your gonna challenge it.
its a oki setup since the charged hit guardbreaks you, you have to challenge it with a fast move when you wake up or its just gonna hit you, or you could step it but thats a little more unreliable. once you know how to avoid it on wake up you should be good but good pauls will do other things on oki if they know your gonna challenge it to stop it, so its just a big mind game at higher ranks
@1:09 how did you not side swap on the 1+2-1+2-2 whiff punish? I like the move because it does a lot of damage but hate it because it side swaps; but in the video you didn't side swap and kept your left side, how?
