I don't know how I ended up in my husband's account again... Patti, I love all three of these. It's hard to chose a favorite. I'll just have to make all 3. Problem solved. I've been working so much this week, I almost missed this! I'm no spring chicken anymore; my spring has sprung! Lol. I'm having a hard time keeping up with everything. I don't know how you do it. You're my hero! Thank you for your beautiful imagination and for sharing it with us. Pattie
Thanks Pattie. I hear you, life gets in the way of fun all the time. I have a hard time keeping up with everything too, don't feel bad. If I wasnt such an early riser, I would'nt get anything done. Have a great weekend.
I enjoy your videos as you explain exactly every step. Cute houses. Thank you!

These are adorable 🥰
I just got done making 3 of these and my granddaughter loved them so I gave them to her and I have to admit they were so cute ! But right before I started making them I searched for any videos of someone making them for themselves and I couldn’t find any at all and I just happened to get on here tonight and your video popped up and I’m so glad that it did because I’m gonna make some more of them and I wanted some new ideas for them and these are so cute I love them !
Thank you so much Rita. These were a lot of fun to make.

Thanks so much 😊
Fantastic, loved them all.
Awesome! Thank you!
Those are awesome!!!
Such cute ideas. I really enjoy watching your videos. You give the best instructions and show how to do it. Thank you for sharing your talent. I so appreciate it.
Thanks Lorraine, I really appreciate that.
You don't have to use crackling medium, you can use Elmer's Glue instead. I used to crackle wood furniture like that. Also, if you have a little tiny drill bit, drill a hole (I use my Dremel) in the front, under the hole and glue in a small dowel for a perch. Then you can glue a tiny bird on the perch, or even just inside the hole, or both. Love the roof ideas. Hadn't thought of that.
Thanks for the tip Pattie, I am going to try that this weekend. Have a great weekend.
Maybe try alpaca next.. love it.
This video was so much fun to watch. 😊I love each of the houses.❤️ You are giving me great ideas to use up a lot of craft stuff I have. Now only to be home and in the mood to craft 😅. I am on my way to Huntsville Alabama and then Nashville TN. Then home. Darla decided she wanted to play at 2 am this morning 🙄. She was practicing being a weenie dog by burrowing under my covers on my bed making her way over to my husband's side to find her weenie dog brothers. Fortunately, I grabbed her fast enough to keep her from waking my husband. Then she decided to voice her displeasure at being forced off the bed. I managed to get a few hours sleep before having to get up at 4 am. Going to be a lonnng day 😬😊. Have a great rest of your week! 😀
Thanks Kimberly. I hope you get some rest when you get home. My dogs sleep in my room too, and sometimes they decide they just want to wake you up to play. You have a great week also.
I love to watch you bring together all of your projects. Your attention to detail is amazing. I so love bird houses. Thank you for sharing your phenomenal talent. God Bless.
Thanks Pamela, that is so nice of you. Have a blessed day.
The birdhouses look so cute! I did just comment on someone else’s video how I didn’t care for the Spanish moss. It just looks so dead, and dreary, and actually takes away from the project’s beauty.
Thanks Barbara. I'm not a huge fan of spanish moss either.
Wow I love your Channell. I just found you. Thank you. I never liked that crackel medium you your tutorial was amazing. I was not working fast enough. Thank you so much. I loved them all. You are very talented. Xoxo
Thank you so much!
Patti those bird houses are absolutely fantastic! I ❤️ Love it! OMG you have such amazing talent! This is great! Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
Thank you so much Linda. They were fun to make
Patti, I love the crafts you teach us! You’re so creative. And your exact instructions explaining ever single detail, where you got your materials and alternate ways of constructing your treasures is extremely helpful. Thanks so much for all your ideas.
BTW could these adorable mini bird houses be displayed outside if a coat (or two) of outdoor mod podge was added to the finished craft?
Thank you so much. Yes, if you put an outdoor coating on them they can be placed outside. I'm putting some in my raised gardens. Have a great day.
@@PattiJGood thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Hope you enjoy this beautiful Sunday. ❤️
Another creative lesson! What do you use to prerecord? Thx again! 😊
Thanks Shelly. I use my iphone to record.
Do you apply the top coat while the crackle medium is wet or do you wait for it to dry ?
You need to wait until it dries.
Hi Patti, I I love these birdhouses and really everything you do, but I am making the birdhouses and I am not having luck with the cracking. It's not cracking. What am I doing wrong? Thank you Gerry
Gerry, Did you do a base coat color first? You have to apply a lot of crackle medium and let it completely dry. Then you can go back and paint over it. What brand did you buy?
@@PattiJGood yes to base coat. I let it dry, then the crackle, , let it dry then paint over it. The brand I bought is folkart crackle medium. Maybe I didn't apply enough? can I put it over the top coat again?
@@sugarbear9y You can try, it probably would not hurt, but you do have to add it heavier than just painting a layer on. Let me know.
@@PattiJGood Ok I will, thank you.
ok it worked. I guess I didn't put enough on. Thank you so much Patti!
When I use Crackle it never crackles lol I can not figure out what I am doing wrong can you help?
You have to let your paint dry really well then add the crackle and let it dry real well. You have to put it on thick. Then add your last coat of paint and only apply it once, don't go back over it.
Where do you get your little knife.
I bought mine in a set. Here is the one I bought. amzn.to/3wzyPCz Thanks, Patti
Where did you get flip flops?
I bought them at Dollar Tree. they come in a set with the pinapple and the palm trees. They did not have them on line, but they have them in the store. I bought some yesterday. Thanks, Patti
@@PattiJGood thank you for the reply. I’ll look for them.
@@PattiJGood couldn’t find them but found shoes!!!! Yay
Where did you get the flip flops?
She said in the video she got everything at Dollar Tree. 😊
@@pattiblankenship9770 never saw them at dollar tree?
@@suegould4231 I think they're in the little boxes with the clear lid that has a variety of little things in it. I think that also had the pineapple, palm tree etc. I'm just guessing based on other things I've seen, with leaves or birds, etc. I'm sure Patti will answer.😁
