I see a lot of joints, rivets and connections to break when you most need it. I learned to keep it simple with minimum parts to break. I had a cable snow tire chain on my Vette and they fell apart like a chinese toy while in snow. Had to get towed out. nevermore...
I agree. There is also plastic which makes it look cheap. Also there is no support on the inside of the tire so I wonder how well they stay in place if they are loaded heavily to the side like a sharp turn.
There's no way these are durable. Tiny links and the main components are huge chunks of plastics! I'm not used to this company being misleading just to make a sale.
