Wondering if I am lost now But finding my way back home and Wondering if love is with me And guiding my destiny Wondering if we are true friends That distance cannot destroy and Wondering if you are lonely While waiting for my return Come, be one with me Let us follow the path of light Mystery seeks to be understood Someday we'll find truth Wondering just who I might be Who I was and will become and Wondering if I can move on Move into the world above Come, be one with me Let us follow the path of light Mystery seeks to be understood Someday we'll find truth Wondering if I am lost now But finding my way back home and Wondering if love is with me And guiding my destiny Wondering just who I might be Who I was and will become and Wondering if I can move on Move into the world above
I'm amazed at how many people underrate this anime because it didn't explain what was beyond the wall. Do you have any understanding of what you would see after you die? It's simply amazing that they managed to make this into an anime series.
I didn't even know english properly at the time yet it still captivated me so. Years later after having internet connection This anime were among the show I searched.
Very helpful comments pointing out the true composer of this piece, though I do not think the video description would be changed -- guys, this is uploaded 14 years ago!
This song is composed by Celtic Harp player Masumi Sakaue, not Kō Ōtani. It is easy to make a mistake because the composer is different only in Wondering in the CD. I think you should correct it as soon as possible.
This song always remebers me of Vashti Bunyan, especially the song Ig you were Here, if someone wants more music like this check Vashti's music out, is really good (^ ^)
Are you one of those people that assumes everything is stolen if it sounds like something? Your wording made it sound like such. It's a wonderful homage if anything.
This isn't even close in tone or meaning to Scarborough Fair. People are so bloody blind. Many song have the same cadence that dose not mean the are remixes shesh....
true, the actual song is a german/ dutch church song based on an even older protest song against the spanish inquisition. You can hear the exact tones here ua-cam.com/video/QhjwcKy5JKg/v-deo.html and the full song as it was supposed ua-cam.com/video/b8ZCIuVUYBw/v-deo.html&ab_channel=EgbertMinnema or google youtube "Heer onze heer hoe zijt Gij aanwezig" . The older protest song is a bit harder to recognize but the melody is definitely there ; search Ger Smit Slaet op den trommele
Wondering if I am lost now
But finding my way back home and
Wondering if love is with me
And guiding my destiny
Wondering if we are true friends
That distance cannot destroy and
Wondering if you are lonely
While waiting for my return
Come, be one with me
Let us follow the path of light
Mystery seeks to be understood
Someday we'll find truth
Wondering just who I might be
Who I was and will become and
Wondering if I can move on
Move into the world above
Come, be one with me
Let us follow the path of light
Mystery seeks to be understood
Someday we'll find truth
Wondering if I am lost now
But finding my way back home and
Wondering if love is with me
And guiding my destiny
Wondering just who I might be
Who I was and will become and
Wondering if I can move on
Move into the world above
The most under rated anime in existence imo. Such an amazing anime

This is one of the best anime ever created. Beautiful soundtrack and story. A REALLY must watch that's not like the shit we have now days
同感です。ほんとうにほんとうにそう思います。この曲を聴くだけでこの作品のもつ冬の空気感がつたわってきます。この曲を使った灰羽のPVみたいなものがあったら良いなとよく思います。
Makes me cry almost everytime
same
this makes me long for wings that fly, to relese a dream thats haunted me since I was little.

Discogs says Masakio Sakagami. Your comment seems correct though. Maybe it's a mistranslation of the kanji.

Best song on the ost.

@Bob Dole: You know Scarborough Fair is like, 300 years old right? Older if you want to talk of it's original base (Elven Lover).

Kamian65 Thank you! Wow even in that scene this song was almost unnoticeable
