I say allegedly because the first mention of Uncle Sam predates The War of 1812. His visual image would be combined with Lord Kitchener (Secretary of War for Britain during World War I who had some pointing posters at the time) to give us the modern "I Want You" Sam pose.

I've seen a lot of Desk's videos and seriously wonder if he's a musician by chance. Seeing his videos from SF4 titles demonstrated such perfect timing. It's as if he sort of finds the right rhythm for each character he uses in his combo videos.
I remember trying G in training mode and just thinking this guy feels like way too much compared to any other character. The options, the damage, the combos. I kinda hope every character in the season 4 gets patched to feel as unique and dangerous as G. Just the options and combo opportunities he has seem so fun and weird.
