I was thinking the same thing. The song itself isn’t that old (although I can’t believe it’s been 7 years now) but besides lyrical content it does have that nostalgic feel to it.

I listened to these guys religiously at 13 14 15...im 25 now, theyre songs bring back so many memories, so many of the best times id give anything to go back to with my buddies after hitting beer runs, may or may not have been paid for lol, but man goin to the river and drinkin with the girlfriends i had at the time and the friends i had, its crazy how things and people change and how fast time moves by, kids teen live that shit up, 11 years flys by faster than you could imagine....life is short make it a wild ride full of good memories and good times
2 years later I've caved and watched the video. Now that Da Kurlzz has left it actually had me tear up, especially seeing all the old masks. Great memories.
This song perfectly describes how even though we have what we used to think we wanted, we realized that the simplest way of life can be the best, the struggle to get to where we wanted to be was the best part, and once we get to the point where we're happy, we get restless. Nothing is ever enough. And when we take the time to sit and look back, relishing in the memories, good or bad. The gravity pulls us into a spiral of intense longing to go back and live it again.

as a fan who's been listening since their Myspace days, I have to say I really enjoy the direction the band is going. I've felt like the albums with Danny have been more about making good music. With Deuce I feel like it was all about being funny and partying. I'm a fan of both versions of HU, but honestly I prefer this new version.

this is my all time favourite band. i actually bought swan songs when it first came out because it looked cool. i have every album and loadsa merch. seen them live and even got a tattoo dedicated to them. they saved my life and im greatful they still make music.

After looking back at this music video, i am blown away as of how much Hollywood Undead has come since they started. Probably my favorite music video HU has ever released so far, it gives a huge look back to Hollywood Undead's early years, like when he was talking to others on the street giving them discs of there music trying to spread the word, feeling a lot of nostalgia. Also showing Danny what he was like before and the others just creating their masks from items that you could find on the street (Charlies Del taco mask XD) And then posing when they had those masks on made me feel like so much nostalgia. It is so crazy from when they were just a bunch of guys trying to get known from a record label and now a band that has large amounts of fans, but they still haven't had the popularity go straight to their heads and are the same guys as they were before. I really can't wait till October to finally get to hear them in concert and go vip and see them, even if they are hated by others, or are kicked off of their record labels, Hollywood Undead does there best to ignore the haters and put out some kick ass songs and albums!

I remember first hearing these guys back in highschool. Funny enough one of my best friends back then was one of those army camo types and we couldn't be more different but we both loved this band. Thanks for all the memories.
I'm not saying the video is about Deuce and I know that the whole "Deuce" thing is STILL sensitive. But This video brought back memories. Looking at their old masks and just seeing Danny's golden mask.. I don't know. A part of me wishes they would all just makeup. I'm not saying have Deuce back or anything. But just something between the two groups of 9Lives and H.U that we can all just kick back and relax upon. It would've been a VERY sentimental idea to have Deuce's old mask hung up on a wall in the end of the video with one of the members placing their hand on it and nodding, symbolizing that things happened for a reason. And in the end it all worked out for both Hollywood Undead and Deuce.

After looking back at this music video, i am blown away as of how much Hollywood Undead has come since they started. Probably my favorite music video HU has ever released so far, it gives a huge look back to Hollywood Undead's early years, like when he was talking to others on the street giving them discs of there music trying to spread the word, feeling a lot of nostalgia. Also showing Danny what he was like before and the others just creating their masks from items that you could find on the street (Charlies Del taco mask XD) And then posing when they had those masks on made me feel like so much nostalgia. It is so crazy from when they were just a bunch of guys trying to get known from a record label and now a band that has large amounts of fans, but they still haven't had the popularity go straight to their heads and are the same guys as they were before. I really can't wait till October to finally get to hear them in concert and go vip and see them, even if they are hated by others, or are kicked off of their record labels, Hollywood Undead does there best to ignore the haters and put out some kick ass songs and albums!

I know I'm a guy, but this video made me drop my virtual panties. I've followed HU since Swan Songs, and I know their roots. For the recruits and new fans out there, this video traces back to their roots. The guy with the paper bag for a mask? In the beginning, Charlie used that as his mask. Love this video. I also love how they're using their masks for show now, they're exposing their faces more but still keeping their identities secret.

I remember first hearing these guys back in highschool. Funny enough one of my best friends back then was one of those army camo types and we couldn't be more different but we both loved this band. Thanks for all the memories.
I'm not saying the video is about Deuce and I know that the whole "Deuce" thing is STILL sensitive. But This video brought back memories. Looking at their old masks and just seeing Danny's golden mask.. I don't know. A part of me wishes they would all just makeup. I'm not saying have Deuce back or anything. But just something between the two groups of 9Lives and H.U that we can all just kick back and relax upon. It would've been a VERY sentimental idea to have Deuce's old mask hung up on a wall in the end of the video with one of the members placing their hand on it and nodding, symbolizing that things happened for a reason. And in the end it all worked out for both Hollywood Undead and Deuce.
