How to Trek Mushkpuri Top I Complete Guide I MUSHKPURI TOP

“The owner has created some scenes just for the trekkers, has created some worlds for gypsies only, and has created some winds for touch those bodies whose minds have interest of trekking.” Of course, these are words of big trekker Mudassar Hussain Tarar.
So friends, today we are going to take you to a scene where cars can't go here, only wanderers can enjoy this scene. We mean Mushkpuri Top. Mushkpuri Top is a second high peak Galiyat that present in Abbottabad only 90km far from Islamabad. This peak is 2800m (9200ft) high from earth surface.
There are two ways to go to Mushkpuri. One of them passes through Alpnie hotel in Nathia Gali. This way is plain, easy to travel, and almost 4km long. Other is passes through Donga Gali also known as Pipeline track. This way is short, little difficult, has lots of climbs, and in winter this become very slips due to snow fall.
Now we discuss how can we go? If you want to go from Islamabad then Nathia Gali is 48km far from Islamabad. From Lahore, the distance is 6.5 hours. If you want to go from Islamabad your adventure can complete in 500 rupees. In this way you can calculate your rent and expenses of traveling from other cities. If you are visiting first time or you are with your family then it is better to use the way that passes through Nathia Gali. This way is long but easy, comfortable and full of scenes. If you are alone and has some experience of trekking then you can use way that passes through Donga Gali (Pipeline track). Both ways shows beautiful scenes and take you in that world that you cannot see from the roads using vehicles. As my experience the way that passes through Nathia Gali is more charming and has amazing scenes. There is also a Roza track nearest to Islamabad.
Now we discus in which season you should visit Mushkpuri Top. You can go in every season but in the hot season in summer from June to September when you are sweating profusely then the green and charming scenes and lovely season of Mushkpuri will make you fall in love. And in snow fall this track covers itself with lovely white snow and show such a scene that can amazed you. As our opinion you should trek one time in winter and one time in summer.
Now we discus at what time you should start trekking. As our opinion trek should start after the breakfast because it will take 3 or more hours to reach at top and on return it will take 1 or 2 hours. If you start trek early then you will have more time to stay at the top.
You should have these equipments:
• Walking stick
• Warm jacket
• Water bottle
• Rain protector
• Food (You will not be served food on top)
These equipments can be packed in day pack bag that you can wear on your shoulders.
