They are already working on reworking the songs, particularly solos so it's something workable for Hazuki to play without Saki, the working off each other. Also Mayu can play a little bit of guitar and is working on being able to help Hazuki out.
They have released videos of them working and Mayu playing. It won't be the same, but I think they are going to make it work.
Your wrong about the whole equivalent of Koba Metal thing.
They had no one creating them. Saki, Hazuki, Tamu, and Haraguchi were essentially hired guns for a project of Mayu's. They all had such a great time playing together and clicked so well they decided to form Nemophila. They weren't created by anyone but themselves.
But even from the beginning Saki never planned on staying even this long. She originally said she was a mentor and "supervisor" and would eventually leave. When they formed Nemophila she was still actually a member of Mary's Blood who was supposed to just be on hiatus. Even Hazuki was already a part of the Lisa X band and working on that project, which eventually became Koaia when the singer left and they got a new one. Performing and recording with them the same time as Nemophila.
They don't have a Koba Metal equivalent. They have a producer that brings them songs or song ideas and the band flashes out their own parts or completely composes and arranges the songs. Like the song Style. Which was written, composed and arranged by Haraguchi (the bassist)
As far as style. Look deeper into their catalog, you will see they have no "style" or formula they stick to. They play anything and everything. Style as in dress. When it comes to performances, it's once again what ever each member is feeling. No "band style" per say. There is no theme or corresponding outfits. It's like everyone wears whatever is comfortable to perform in.
The only time there's any kind of outfits or "costumes" may be full on MV's.
Changing subject. I'm not sure how deep you've gotten into their catalog. But I would suggest Odyssey which you probably have checked out. Or Now I here, or Change the world. For some different sides of the band. To get an even broader view I would suggest Style and Hypnosis

I appreciate Nemophila wanting to carry on as a four member band at the moment, but I really hope they find another guitarist. The balance I believe will be better with five petals. Wishing SAKI all the best, and looking forward to her next material.
